DCS World Cam Ground Restriction Mod

ok this mod is for the camera terrain restriction, will work with all installed modules as well.

 

personally i like it turned off , u get some fantastic close screenshots of the jets and models down low.

tested on lastest DCS World game build 1.2.2 7570, and works in multiplayer as well.

 

also included is a backup incase u want to change back to default settings,

heres the mod and screenshots below.

 

install Server.LUA mod version to location = Root: \DCS World\Config\View overwrite when prompt.

works for both SP and MP

I think some users need to be advised that this mod will overwrite any version of server.lua that has 6DOF enabled on their machine - maybe a simple guide showing that changing line 24 from 'CameraTerrainRestriction = true' to 'CameraTerrainRestriction = false' would be better?

I was thinking the same thing. Instead of making people use complete file (which means any changes they made goes to crap) its much better to simply say to which file to edit and where... this mod is just simple 1 line change from true to false ;)

default cockpit views, nothing altered with that.

no harm providing a ready made workable .LUA file with backup.
