I have tried most of the training missions today and they appear to be working however you need to stick very close to the "expected" parameters in the flight envelope or there may be some delays in the narratives. Thank-you EvilBovil1:thumbup:

Hey what happened to these? I'm getting 'page not found' when I click the link.

I am on the navigation training mission and after a few minutes when I am directed to go Slew down and then TMS UP on the HUD, the speaker disappears and only tells me to keep my speed up. by the way, sometimes the left engine does not seem to want to fire up.

Try slewing further down on the HUD. Because of the terrain in the area, sometimes the TDC box falls very far in the valley ahead, in which case it is too far to activate a SPI. If you try to designate a point closer to the aircraft, it should work.

 

Not sure what may be the problem with the engine, but sounds like a controller mapping issue. Maybe you have the wrong controller or more than one controller mapped to the left engine.

Okay I will try it. However, the left engine worked all the other times. Perhaps it was just the training mission that caused the problem.

No, they are not. 1.2.4 already includes new updates and fixes to the training missions.

I am running 1.2.4. My problem is that the gun/rocket training mission is now stuck when I go to the rocket profile page. In several previous uses of this mission, it ran fine, but not now. I don't want to do a repair as that would over write several new mods that I have installed. so the question is, how can I get just the guns/rocket training mission?

If you use JSGME for your mod management then the repair would not be a big issue.

The mission should be working correctly last time I tested it. Could you save a track of you trying it and post it here so we can see where the problem may be? To save a track, you can launch the mission from the Mission Editor instead of the Training menu. This way when you exit the mission, you will have a Save Track button on the Debriefing menu.

TRACK OF BAD GUNS AND ROCKETS TRAINING MISSION

 

Attached is the track you requested. The mission generally stops when I go to the weapons profile. It used to work ok. I don't know what happened or what I did.
