zahry, how quickly do you think I could get the extension in Los Angeles? Willing to cover shipping cost as required of course.

I can have the extension on the way today and I can ask FedEx, UPS or DHL for fast delivery - not sure how much does it gonna cost but I can ask and let you know.

The only proviso is you show the community a video of DCS Huey. ;) :music_whistling:

I just made an order with fast internl. shipping to Los Angeles. Within a few days is what I'm looking for if that's possible. Thank you!

Hello

Just a question for any UK customers:-

How long was your extension "Held for clearance" once it had arrived in the UK ??, mine has been held up for four days now.

P.S... Thanks zahry for the quick posting and turnaround once i had ordered.... but it seems like the UK customs are dragging their feet somewhat !!!...

Regards...

Hi Gunnergolly, I'm surprised they stop it at all, did they mentioned why they held it?

On the shipping form dont write 'extension for thrustmaster'. Customs over there are very protective of their adult industry.

:megalol: that explains a bit :smartass:

I've just spent an hour phoning around and eventually found out that the package was being held at the Rotherham distribution center awaiting payment of import tax....... except nobody told me that!!!!!

I've settled up with them now so hopefully i will receive my extension tomorrow .

Yep we will get hit by import Tax in the country. Bloody Thieving Goverment

Those buggers would Tax us for breathing if they could, you should have gotten a card from the post office asking for the money, and then doubling the import Tax with an admin charge???

Anyhow, once it's paid, ( no way to get it if it isn't. ) then jobs done, and trust me, even with being ripped off by our goverment this is still worth it. :)

that's more like a daylight robbery - i might have to start declaring different value. it's plain wrong if the clearance and tax is almost as much as the extension itself.

Joys of living in the UK, mate.

Yes it's highway robbery, sadly nothing we can do about it.

Got my extention today. Thank you! Installed and worked without a problem. However there are two issues. 1. The handle seems to have a very slight offset to the right. I would imagine this is the opposite of what most users would want and is not intended. 2. When trying to remove the two bottom screws to change the offset, one of the holes had its threads stripped. I don't think it's the only screw with this problem. If possible, I would have liked to see more durable screws/threading in the build.

Nevertheless, thanks for putting this together and getting it out here quickly. It only took a few minutes to get everything fixed up and set my left offset. Now I have to build some kind of stand for it. :joystick:

Hi Zahry,

Definitely interested in picking up an extension as I'm looking to offset my Warthog. Is there any way to order this extension shorter than 7.5 cm? Is 2" (5.08cm) or even 1" (2.54cm) possible?

I have an Obbuto Ozone & my Warthog is at the perfect height for me, but I'm too chicken to do a DIY offset & this a perfect way to do so without permanently changing (or ruining) my Warthog.

Hi EvilBivol - thanks for the feedback - will check the jig if everything is lined up properly  I've tested new base for the warthog recently (for easy mounting) - it's on the website on few photos.

I can try the 5-6 cm otherwise I wouldn't be able to fit the extension cable in. Let me know if that length will do for you.

(i might put my thinking cap on and lets see what I can do :) )

Zahry, email is inbound, pls check your filters just in case.

Cheers,

Sabre.

Thanks for the reply Zahry. I sent you a PM so we can further discuss off the thread.
