i thought it was the other way around, since the mig was introduced first

That's the funny part. :)

(It was people that didn't see the MiG-25 until later, since Belenkos defection around the time the F-15 was entering service, and thus assumed it was more recent.)

Probably rolls royce copies since there are rolls royce subsidiaries in china building the original items.

EDIT: Looking at the clearer footage above it looks like they are using russian engines in them (at least for now).

Probably PS-90's? Or D-30's?

Now that's not fair! From that angle the J-20 dosn't look like an F-22 copy anymore!

It's always easy to find a specific angle where things look more similar than in others:

Note how F-22 and PAK-FA look similar in configuration from above, but not from the front. And J-20 and F-22A look similar from the front, but definitely not from above. Phantom88, thought these might help you consider that previous comparison you made. ;)

I wonder what the capabilities of this thing are. I noticed in the video she has clam shell TRs instead of sleeves. To me it looks like a 141 and a 17 had a Chinese baby. The Crew Chief in me really wants to know how they change the MLG tires. Can it integral jack or do they have to use a jack on site. Would really like to peak inside her cargo bay.
