No right CTRL key

Hi,

My keyboard doesn't have the right CTRL key... is there any way to simulate this key...??

It will be a pain in the neck if i have to remap all the commands involved with the right CTRL

:)

 

P.S: I don't have a mac .. it is a windows machine

If you have another key to replace it with, you can open the Modifier list in the control settings, delete the RCtrl entry, then create a new entry with some other key - but crucially name that one "RCtrl". Now that key will be understood as the RCtrl modifier.

I use the same method since my BlackWidow doesn't have a right Windows key. :)

mine is an old Sun type 5 keyboard ( http://deskthority.net/wiki/Sun_Type_5 ). It was taken from an old Sun server.

I use an apc40+bomes midi translator to map shortcuts...unfortunetly BMT doesn't seem to map right vs left shift correctly, so I manually updated some combos...might have to revert and fix it this way.

Hmm, no right controll on a Black Widow? I was concidering buying one... I thought it was standard on every board for sale in my country.

Learned something new just now.

 

Weird, i just checked the website and it does have all keys.. Whats going on here? OOOW wait... you're most likely are using a Russian layout.

It has a right control. What it does not have is a right windows key. (Instead it has one function key for macros and such stuff as well as some sort of fancy option key - for example, pressing it in this text window does the same as right-clicking with the mouse where the cursor is. But with that trick the lack of RWin doesn't hurt me in DCS and in windows/other games I don't exactly miss it.)
