Shaman Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 (edited) How does Intercom panel has to be configured to allow comms with ground crew? (not using easy radio here, full realism settings with TARS, fiddling with all freqs) Where in the airbases (airport apron map locations) or what kind of active or static objects (vehicles) mission designer must place to allows refuel/rearm? How close doe some have to taxi to these vehicles or objects? Does anyone have list of these objects for all countries? I am still struggling to understand logic behind this after so many changes. r813 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 How does Intercom panel has to be configured to allow comms with ground crew? (not using easy radio here, full realism settings with TARS, fiddling with all freqs) You can either open the canopy and select any mic switch position so speak to ground crew or select INT on the audio panel and use MIC SWITCH FWD. Just remember to select VHF again when your done so you can use the radio as normal. I've never used TARS so not sure exactly how this would affect it.
LcSummers Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Hi LALT+, doesnt work foe me. Can someone please tell me how to open that rearm refuel menue? I am totally confused. So: Setup battery, then setup comms turn to INT and then? Thanks LC
LcSummers Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 (edited) Yes, sorry but that does not work for me. Tried everything but nothing happens. I try to fly the RAMP strart mission, no rearming possible. Thanks Eddie Edited March 13, 2013 by LcSummers

Eddie Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Check your control config in options and check what the refuelling and rearming menu is bound to.
LcSummers Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 (edited) Check your control config in options and check what the refuelling and rearming menu is bound to. Hi Eddie, thats the problem. There is nothing set or bound. I cant add a key as the field is light grey colored, only modifier is highlighted in yellow. Its only working (for me) via the MIC swith up command, but now its working. I think its the best solution. Thank you for helping me out of that problem S! Edited March 14, 2013 by LcSummers
Eddie Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Sounds like you need to reset your control config back to default.
raymondabel Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Sounds like you need to reset your control config back to default. is it possible to make a all control reset in one command?
Col.Flanders Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Check your control config in options and check what the refuelling and rearming menu is bound to. What is it called under the controls menu? I don't see 'refueling and rearming menu' and I've been staring through at that list for an eternity trying to find it.
Eddie Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 (edited) It's been renamed in some places it seems. It's now under "Show Mission Resources Management Window" under the General category, but under Rearming and Refueling Menu for the A-10C and other aircraft. If you don't have it, and you've transferred your control config from a previous version (especially pre DCS World) then you'll need to delete your saved games\dcs\config\input\ folder for the relevant modules. Thanks, Eddie. Makes sense now but is it possible to copy the relevant lines out of the DCS world-specific keyboard.lua file and paste them into my original keyboard.lua? I've tried pasting: {combos = {{key = "'", reformers = {"LAlt", }}, }, down = iCommandMissionResourcesManagement, name = "Rearming and Refueling Window", category = "General"}, I tried this as a longshot and it seems it was one because it didn't work. I'm trying to avoid redoing all my controls as it takes painfully long to redo. Edited March 18, 2013 by Col.Flanders
Col.Flanders Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 (edited) Seems it has worked....just going to test to see if the menu actually works now. Used my flash script editor to view the lua file and made it a lot easier to read than the wall o' text shown in notepad.. Probably missed a '{' or ',' or something before. Edit:works fine. This new menu is a nice setup. Edited March 18, 2013 by Col.Flanders
Guest Izoul123 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Fixed. I remapped it on my TM WH to the Mic Up switch and it's working again. For some reason the keyboard shortcut was still failing me in the A10 module, but SU25 still worked. Now both of them are just mapped to Mic UP and I'm calling it good. I for one am more fond of the old comms radio menu we could use before on the A10, as it was organized better than the pull down 'graphic' menu system for mission/load-out types, but I've adapted fine. Call it nostalgia I guess.
