Seil Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 (edited) Should use the forum's search function, answered 1000 times - Use the Target GUI and there are point and click controls to manually override the lights. The manual is where I find all my answers :D Edited March 6, 2013 by Seil -Seil WotG Founder & A10C Lead
LcSummers Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 Should use the forum's search function, answered 1000 times - Use the Target GUI and there are point and click controls to manually override the lights. Its not working. This is why i asked it. Via Target it doesnt work permanently. I want to disable them completely. After rebooting them, they are "online" again. I searched the forum but didnt found th right answer. So be more precise please if you want to help me.

cichlidfan Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Thanks! I made it via Target, but this is only until i shut my pc down and rebbot it. Than the lights are green again, this is my problem. There is no way around that. It is a function of the driver itself and unless TM changes the driver you are stuck with it. I use Target for most of my sims and every profile kills the lights at startup, and that stays until overridden, so they are usually off. I rarely reboot my PC so that is not often an issue. If I do reboot I just load a Target profile then exit and the lights are off. I have done it the same way as you did. Every time i booted up my pc i started TARGET and disabled the backlights. So i have to wait until TM fix it. Thanks for your help. LC

Lumper Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 I have a powered hub with my WH and MFD's connected to and only have to use target if I loose power to reset the LED's. As for not having working LED's I would suspect a USB port is not providing correct power. This is why I went to a powered hub for full time use. And if you get a hub, buy a good one, as there are some really cheap ones on the market that are not that do not distribute power that good. Crusader69 Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 (edited) Thanks, Lumper. Been using some fancy power usb hub (Roccat Apuri). Will try to get some better hub this weekend. Edit: Just found out that I plug-in the HOTAS directly to my M/board... damn. Is my M/board USB have power problem? Lausbub78 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 The lights on my Throttle stays off even after a reboot. I have set the LED Slider to the full left (0) and left the "Enable LED Backlight" enabled. I remember that the LED's turned back on after every Reboot, but lately I got this USB Hub http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B000KY7VY4/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And it seems to have done the Trick. No garanty if it works for everyone though. I got all my controllers plugged into the Hub,so all slots are used. No Idea if this has something to do with it.
