My T1 and T3 buttons on my G940 are intermittent. It seems like they are intermittent at the same time meaning when T1 isn't working, T3 isn't working either and vice versa. I can't seem to figure out what triggers this problem. It just goes away by itself then happens again randomly. Is anyone else having similar problems and if so is there a solution?

At first, I thought it was the buttons getting dirty so I opened up my throttle and cleaned the buttons with alcohol but that doesn't seem to be the problem....

Did you check their cables for faulty isolation? A common problem with the g940 is that the cables are mounted in a way so that movement will slowly cause the isolation to be sheared off, which can lead to chaotic behaviour of parts of the controller.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

Hi Sobek, the cables looked ok but hard to tell. Do you know if the T1 and T3 buttons use common cabling?

If they work when the throttle is back but not when forward then the connector to the pcb in the throttle is flexing. A very common issue. All the pots/hat switch/buttons use a 6 core cable.

Did you read the post about the cable being to short and pulls on its self causing it to spike? Is that your trouble? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89513&highlight=g940+cable
