HI!

With DCS 1.2.2 there was a huge problem with fps drop and stuttering during shoting from guns in P-51. With 1.2.3 version there was little better (less stuttering) but still there is a huge fps drop during shoting.

I got usually 35-60 fps during P-51 flying but when i or other P-51 start to long series shoting fps drop from 60 fps to even 10 fps usually. It is a big hit in smooth gameplay. Without shoting game is smooth.

It would be nice if ED would work for better optimalization during shoting.

There is also some fps drop proabalby with clouds - about 10-15 fps less then without them.

My spec is:

Q6600@3.2 Ghz, 4 GB Ramm, GTX 560 TI, Win7 64 bit.

There will always be a trade off between FPS and higher graphical fidelity, the partical effects do make it look more life like.

We are both running mid range CPU's releases in 2007 (If your signature is up to date) maybe it is time for an upgrade:joystick:
