pittnuma Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Hi all, Just getting back into simming, have been flying around quite happily with the A10 and FC3, however 1 thing I would like to do is drop my sensitivity on the pitch and roll slightly (I'm using a non pro X52), this to help with A2A Refueling, slightly too sensitive just off center. I have looked at the ff tune options and to be honest I haven't a clue what I am changing. Anybody :helpsmilie:? Thanks Pitt Pitt Learn from the mistakes of others. cichlidfan Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 I have looked at the ff tune options and to be honest I haven't a clue what I am changing. FF tune is not what you want in the first place as you are not using a Force Feedback stick. Axis tune is where to look and information about how to make adjustments is in the Users Manual (in the Doc folder) starting on page 24. 9.JG27 DavidRed Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 i would suggest you to try out a curvature of 20 on the elevator axis.and let it at default 0 for the ailerons.at least thats what i was told when i struggled with my fighterstick to make air to air refuelings...and it worked great.now that i have the warthog, i dont need any curvature on any axis.so it depends on the stick i guess.but 20 should be a good start for everybody i guess.the finetuning is up to you though! good luck and have fun!AAR is one of the most immersive things you can do in the a10 in my view!
Hamblue Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I wound up with a roll and pitch curvature of 28 and can actually refuel. Still need hours more of practice to get proficient. I also have a deadzone set to 3 to prevent every little jerk of the stick from getting registered. Asus Sabertooth P67 Motherboard 2600k CPU, 16 gig DDR3, 1600. Madone Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 As said, you have to change it through axis tune, I've a curvature of 15 and a dead zone of 5% on each jockstick axis.
