SkateZilla Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 even if the ports are open, and the firewall off, You still have to forward them to the MAC/Local IP. Other wise the packets come to the router and stop there since the router doesnt know where to send them. Try Running without the router. KombatMilc Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 my COMODO firewall rules for DCS world are as follows: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe Allow IP In From MAC Any To MAC Any Where Protocol Is Any Allow IP Out From MAC Any To MAC Any Where Protocol Is Any C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS Wolrd\bin\Launcher.exe Allow IP Out From MAC Any To MAC Any Where Protocol Is Any To my knowledge the above shouldn't cause any connectivity issues.
KombatMilc Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 (edited) doesn't even work when I directly connect to my modem. Edited April 11, 2013 by KombatMilc spelling
KombatMilc Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 (edited) the second picture shows something odd. (circled in red) should I forward port 52135 too? Edited April 11, 2013 by KombatMilc added text
outlawal2 Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Windows firewall? Antivirus firewall? +1... "Pride is a poor substitute for intelligence." RAMBO
KombatMilc Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 (edited) Windows firewall? Antivirus firewall? Windows Firewall is disabled. I use COMODO Internet Security, which does include a firewall. The pictures you see are of my routers port forwarding page, and the 2nd one is of my COMODO KillSwitch which is like a monitor of the whole computer. Below is from post #52 my COMODO firewall rules for DCS world are as follows: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe Allow IP In From MAC Any To MAC Any Where Protocol Is Any Allow IP Out From MAC Any To MAC Any Where Protocol Is Any C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS Wolrd\bin\Launcher.exe Allow IP Out From MAC Any To MAC Any Where Protocol Is Any To my knowledge the above shouldn't cause any connectivity issues. ENO Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 That port you circled will tend to change frequently. I can't remember exactly what it was for- but I'd been seeing it change a lot in my logs (followed by crashes in the past). I'm not sure if that was just a coincidence... regardless- it shouldn't have an impact on your connectivity issues. "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret.
