I have been looking on and off for about a year for a good group of guys to fly with but have had no luck. I joined a squadron once but they told me I had to wait my turn for an evaluation and to get trained. Well they made me wait 7 months without talking to me.... I ended up joining another squadron hoping I would finally get some training and some fun flights. Instead I got to listen to the group leader get drunk and yell at his wife over the team speak day after day. : Doh:

I have been looking at a bunch of squadrons but it seems a lot of them are not up to date or rarely have anyone there... I live in the united states so I am guessing I would need a group that is also based in the US so that our time zones are not opposite from each other.

Can we post some links here to active squadrons? : Joystick:

Thank's for any info : Thumbup:

Sounds familiar.

I just passed the entrance exam to the 159th into Nugget-land, flying the copter. LOL!

I taught myself for a year.

I fly with a bunch of the better squads on their DCS servers, but I do not belong to them.

DCS will never compare to the other sim I used to fly, where at prime time 8 to 11 PM Eastern time, 400 guys would be there, various squads, world-wide membership.

DCS servers: 159th, 74th, 104th, <51>, STP, 77th, (SimHQ: Enos and Blooze Festival), Hoggit, WarGameLabs, WarHawks...

Some of the Chinese servers are good, but the ping rate is outrageous for me.
