Sorin Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 DCS A10C is my favorite sim. It is the best military aircraft simulation that I know of. I have also paid for P51 which is great and recently for Combined Arms. But as much as I like ED my conclusion so far is that the Combined Arms module should be still in beta... So wait some more for CA...
gregzagk Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 It's definitely worth it ... Many squadmates bought CA during the spring sales and we have the best time in DCS till then... I read about merging DCS with ARMA in some old posts and I think I can say that even if CA has not much detail and realism (ED said it won't have in the first place ) we are already very close to this... It's up to the mission designer to create a very exciting environment for both aircraft and ground commanders :) We plan to organize some multiplayer events with Human platoons etc too. :smartass: "ARGO" DCS UH-1H DLC SP Campaign 373vFS DCS World squadron (Greece) - www.buddyspike.net "ARGO 2.0 Project Phoenix" UH-1H DLC Campaign - WIP
Adi Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I can't remember how much I payed for it, but is was cheaper than a Steak dinner. Go on, hit the 'buy' button.

Darkwolf Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 IT is Faaaaaaaaaaar from being perfect ! But if you enjoy DCS's world, it's a must have. It's weird to say, but unlike in real life, it's fun to get down in the ground an get bombed, fell the tension of driving a tank in a place full of ATGM flying everywhere and bombers... Or eventual shot down that A10C you are used to fly Don't expect a study sim, but still they is plenty of fun that worth the purchase :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] PC simulator news site. Subliminal-SS Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 I like CA, just for the fact that when I fly I can set uncontrolled aircraft stationary in the base and then if i need them I can call them in with a click on the mouse. So when youre A-10 gets smashed you can call in the Apaches for fun. And then send a SAR flight to find you. All I need now is a get in option.
Darkwolf Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 SAR would be really nice. I wish we could have the possibility to get pilot system improved. For example, you eject, you get to the ground, you can call in a SAR. Another guy spawn a UH-1/Mi8 and come to pick you up, and you pop a smoke or trigger a radio beacon. Actually, pilots aren't synchronized in MP. If that was done, it would already be a huge step. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] PC simulator news site. Also....Join the largest DCS community on Facebook :pilotfly:
