...what are fifty bugs for such a helicopter experience?

Try it guys and you'll see it's really worth it!

btw: We're used to much more buggy/instable Beta versions. Tried some campaign missions and a single mission until now. Seems to work as it should. Didn't discover major bugs yet...

btw2: The campaign is really lovely! And you guys really want to try those single missions. So great to get escorted by 2 Cobras which clear the way for you...

Dang it, my birthday isn't for another month and a half... I haven't bought the Huey yet, but I REALLY want to! I'm hoping I can convince my wife to buy it for me as a birthday present...

50 bucks is not cheap.. but it is far from overpriced in todays market. I would suggest you look up what Microsoft third party FSX planes sell for.. the good ones.. it boils down to this.. if this is your main hobby.. you invest.. if not.. wait for a sale this fall or next summer.. no biggie.. it wont be going anyplace.

Nothing different than a guy buying a few boxes of shells for his time out shooting.. the golfer buying a new putter or some boxes of balls.. We took the grandson to outfit for softball.. after a few hundred for his hobby.. he looked at some bats.. average.. 250.00 for a bat.. for a bat!!

Many of us do appreciate someone making something for all of us to fly with a classic background. Times change.. hobbies change.. just enjoy life.. outside or behind the stick on computers.. remember... if you feel laggy... your system is over 3 years old..time to update it as well.. this is a hobby that has to be invested in like any other.. tally-ho!!

the pricing issue for me is okei, i think 50$ for such a precise module is far from too much, but it depends to whom you sell it..

i think there is a difference when selling this to a 30 yrs something Australian or US, German citizen who earns 2000-3000 USD per month or a Romanian,Bolgarian,Russian who earn much less..

What i'm trying to say is, maybe ED should do what car industry does as well and that is sell it "a little" bit cheaper for poorer countries so they can still get something from a customer instead of nothing..

Car's usually are priced also on the basis of purchase power.. if you can afford the price why not jack it up a bit, if not why not jack it down a notch..

I would hate to see hundreds of potential customers in Russia, Ukraine not buying this cuz they really can't afford it but might jump the ship if the price would be 35-40 USD..

Personally i can afford it, and even if it would be 80$ i would buy it even though it would be for me "expensive" ..i don't care.. i would reduce my "nights out" time and make the money available..

about pricing in general.. imagine a western company like Jane's doing simulation.. do you really think you would be buying the Huey for 50 bucks? I think the price would be 200 USD and they would have no shame in selling it like this..

The Russian and this Belarussian company should not try communism and provide "free" stuff to us.. we all know how that ends..

By all means, capitalism should dictate price..

All this price discussion is stupid.

Once you successfully lift off (without spinning wildly), take it into a smooth hover, take it round the airport and land it without blowing up, losing your rotor, tail or skids, trust me: you'll know it's worth every penny.

The sheer satisfaction of successfully flying and landing it makes it worth while - it feels alive, it feels heavy, and it feels powerful. Basically, it feels REAL.

Add to that the fact that it's fully clickable, realistic, beautiful, supports multiplayer on all its posts, AND adds a whole new dimension to the DCS World...

Too expensive? Come to Europe and fill your car with gasoline, you'll see what's bloody expensive.
