Oh no, it is not!!! It seems like it is, but when you try the SIM model it is way more difficult to handle... :D

I was surprised, also, when I tried to get a grip for the Huey with the "game" physics, and yes, it is way easier to hover and land the Heli.

In the end I switched back to the Sim model, it is challenging, but when you tune the axis to be smoother for the corrections, it is possible and when I started the Blackshark first time it was the same. Uncontrollable, way too sensitive... did have a flight in the Shark yesterday after lots of Huey training. Now it feels like a rockstable platform! :music_whistling:

Maybe is that I don't have enough experience in the realisitc mode yet. lol

That is probably all it is. I have tried both, being a horrible rotary wing pilot, and although Game Flight mode is easier, it still takes some concentration to maintain the attitude and flight path your are trying for.

Game mode uses the same FM, but with heavily incresed damping.

Shouldn't be more easier than that? a Fm that everyones can use?

Been trying it again and think this need to be more similar to the Ka50 one, where anyone that can handle a stick can fly the chopper. Not everyone have the time or dedication to learn a Realistic FM.

Well, i have never tried the game filght model so far, but I thought similar at the beginning about the sim flight model. "Puh, this is hard", "I will never learn to land this thing" etc. But after about one, two days of training (distributed over a couple of days witj about one or two hours of flight) I finally got it. Not perfect, but you will have to get the "feeling" for the amount of input and this will take a while.

It's like learning to ride a bicycle or a car. If you have to think what to do, you will crash often (hopefully not in a car ;)). But at some point all control inputs are just done instinctively.

And adjust the axis curves to your preferences. For me a user curve for pitch, roll and collective (!!) was best.

Thats a totally different point, why having a "game" Fm If is too similar to the "Sim" FM?

The question is: Why have a game fm at all. :prop:

Well, in certain cases "Game mode" may be the only chance to fly at all (twist joystick, erratic potetiometer etc.) Not everybody can afford to by a HOTAS right away. :music_whistling:

@ Stratos - On the other hand if you buy into a pre-order beta of what is known as the hardest puristic Simulation series around, do you really expect the chopper to be handled like "Apache: Air assault"? Up/down, left/right, strafe?

The game mode FM utilizes a lot of dampening and when you train at least a few hours to get a feeling for the chopper it should be easy to take off, fly around and after a bit more practice to land and hover.:joystick:

Well I even crashed the Warthog in the beginning, until I acquired enough feeling for the amount of rudder you can use in hi-speed low level turns, without spiralling into the soil...:megalol:

For people that don't want or cannot bother with SIM FM? For let "noobs" try the game before they get it (and start getting interested in Sim FM), for people that think that realism is more mission oriented than FM oriented??

I think BS game Fm was pretty well done, hope to see something similar into the Huey.

BTW Guys, I'm flying SIM mode, BUT want to get a proper Game FM too.
