How do I fire missiles in a F-15???????

Can someone help me, I don't seem to be able to fire a missile in the the F-15 in FC3. I have done it in a Mig29 and Su27 but the F15 only wants to fire guns. As in I lock on a aircraft with a Aim-9 get a lock to fire and just keep firing gun, Can anyone tell me where i am going wrong? :joystick:

not at home right now so I can't verify but there are two firing options under your control options.

Weapon fire and weapon release, you want to configure the binding corresponding to weapon release to fire a missile, Right Alt + Space if my memory is correct.

Yep, you need to set "Weapon Release" in your Options for the F-15C

Russian jets fire their missiles with the index finger trigger. US jets fire them using the thumb button on top of the HOTAS control stick.
