Yet another mission "Zero Dark Thirty"

Thanks for the mission wess24m. What I flew of it was great - a good challenge keeping eyes on the blackhawk in the mountains! Unfortunately after the blackhawk was destroyed I didn't get anything else to happen. Then I landed near the troops on the road to see if I could entice them in, but while I was sitting there a Ural drove through my tail and destroyed the tail rotor!

just tried that Mission today..same Problem here..Blackhawk explodes..I jettison my Weapons..land..and nothing more happens? Any Advice?!

Same thing happened when I flew the mission about a week ago (in 1.2.6). But up to that point, it was a lot of fun. :)

 

I tried to download and fly your missions but can't open the .Miz files. How do you open this type of file and where do you place them. Thanks in advance.

 

The question has already been answered, but in case anyone is interested, .miz files are simply Zip-files, they can be opened with WinZip, 7zip, WinRar and so on (or with Windows Explorer if they're renamed to Whatever.miz.zip) so you can easily look inside them. As was said before, this is not necessary to fly them, but maybe it's useful anyhow. :smartass:

Hmm I guess I have found the Error in that Mission..one of the Triggers (we`re in) is set inside a Building, but the Troops can not enter the Building..the just run around the House..so the Mission comes to a stop I guess..

 

EDIT: Yap..that was the Problem..placing the Trigger and the Waypoint outside of the Building fixes that Mission

Even if I place the triggers and the waypoint outside the builiding I cannot complete the mission. The last trigger that is triggered is the one that I ask the base what I do now that the hawk is down. Then nothing... No response and nothing...

Hi again, give mine a try...and here also..this is wess24m`s work! And I`ve not tried the Mission under 1.2.7 yet..:)

you`re welcome Dude:) All I did (as far as I can remember) was palcing the Trigger for the Troops a bit behind the Building...ah and I slowed down the Blackhawk a bit because in the original Version I had a damn hard time to keep up:huh:

Yes i noticed that too! Although i had managed to follow it in the original mission if i lightened a bit the helicopter. After all you dont need any weapons in the mission. But it was better at 74 knots
