Dear ED,

would you please add surround sound support?

Examples (no need for audio editing):

Center speaker:

radio messages

Rear Speakers:

Turbine engine(s)

Front Speakers:

Propeller Engine(s), Wind

Subwoofer:

Engines, Fire, Weapons, Gear, Other Special Effects

Side Speakers: (7.1), or 5.1: side effect by a combination of the rear and front speakers:

Weapons, Wind, Gear

2. The DCS MOVIE information!

4. REAL UFO FOOTAGE

government: gives me money because of coronavirus

me: spends all money on the missing DCS modules

government: ... you dumbo! We won't give you money anymore

me: It's ok. I don't need anything else - I now have the entire DCS collection

my cat: looking at the empty bowl for a while and goes back to sleep

me: it's hard times, Mig, suck it up!

The sound engine already supports surround sound. It is very unrealistic to have radio messages come out of the front speaker. Localisation of symmetric headphone sound (where the radio messages come from) is usually inside the head, so at most radio messages should be coming from all speakers equally.

Would it be possible to use multiple sound devices for DCS?

What i am currently doing is have TS running on headset and DCS on speakers.

Would be nice if you could select cockpit sounds to be on your headset and the others on you speakers from within DCS though.
