Glider,

have you or anyone thought of doing panels that are the same switch layout but for the different aircraft. you could then have a set of switch panels and just swap the fronts over when flying different aircraft just my brain working overtime.

what do you all think be honest I can take it...

AMD A8-5600K @ 4GHz, Radeon 7970 6Gig, 16 Gig Ram, Win 10 , 250 gig SSD, 40" Screen + 22 inch below, Track Ir, TMWH, Saitek combat pedals & a loose nut behind the stick

Sounds a good idea, it all depends on how many people want them of course.

Everyone I have sold to want hyper accurate but i'm sure there are people out there who would like a generic cockpit.

Hi

It has been suggested to me by PM that I should not say "hyper accurate" about my panels.

Ok lets put it this way they are a "very close representation" of actual panels.

Couldn't resist posting this here- My first go at back lighting.

Using Gliders top panel and spacer.

Used my own back plate because i couldn't bring myself to drill holes in his for the LED's before I proved it would work!

hard work,

very nice pictures.

cold we see the backsides as well? are there holes for backlighting in there?

They are generally customised for each person, I do not cut any holes for LEDs initially as there are different ways to illuminate.

But all the panels can be tailored to the individual.

Caution panel looks awesome! Are you going to cut indicators with text for it as well?

Also, I'm curious as to why the SAS panel has only one switch hole cut for the pitch?

Yes I am working on these over the next few days, just waiting for a delivery of material.

because I am an idiot!!!!

Here is mine back lit, with the edges painted and switches installed and working

Now to do the same to the ELEC PWR panel!

Cheers! I painted the edges around the clear back panel so there is no light bleed from the sides and around the mounting bolts

I could do that at the same time, to be honest I never thought of that. it would add say a pound to each clear. but it would save trying to do it afterwards.

full left console

I will be making the left console (see image below) tomorrow. I will post pics once completed(probably Saturday before I finish).

All panels will be screwed to frames and each panel set screwed together.

No switches or electronics initially.

Prices available once I work out the time taken to make first one.
