IonicRipper Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I'm just starting to build missions so this might be obvious but is there a way to have 2 clients in the same flight? i5 4590 @ 3.77GHz | GTX 1060 6GB | 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 | 1TB HDD+500GB HDD | Win10 Home X64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Grimes Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Nope. Each client must have its own flight. 1 The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. IonicRipper Posted June 1, 2013 Author Posted June 1, 2013 I see. Thank you for the reply. i5 4590 @ 3.77GHz | GTX 1060 6GB | 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 | 1TB HDD+500GB HDD | Win10 Home X64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
FishBike Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 I find the best way to do this is set everything up for the first player in the flight, then just copy and paste that unit to create the second player's flight. You should only need to do a couple of things to the second player's flight like correcting the name and callsign. Do this while zoomed in all the way and with the mouse pointer close to the first unit (otherwise all the waypoints etc for the second player will be created with a large offset from the first).

Wrecking Crew Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 FYI - larger AI a/c should also only have one unit per group, or they won't behave properly. WC Visit the Hollo Pointe DCS World server -- an open server with a variety of COOP & H2H missions including Combined Arms. All released missions are available for free download, modification and public hosting, from my Wrecking Crew Projects site.
IonicRipper Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 Don't want to start a new thread just for this: I want to have a C-130 be on final approach as the mission starts so I can see it land when starting up my plane. How can i do this? i5 4590 @ 3.77GHz | GTX 1060 6GB | 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 | 1TB HDD+500GB HDD | Win10 Home X64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Midnight Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Use mission editor and just place the C130 about 5 miles from runway with way-point to land at your airport. If you start the mission it will land after about 3 minutes.
IonicRipper Posted June 8, 2013 Author Posted June 8, 2013 Thats what I've been doing but everytime it circles once before it gets into position to land. I remember a user-made mission I played once and almost as soon as the mission stared there was a C-130 landing. i5 4590 @ 3.77GHz | GTX 1060 6GB | 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 | 1TB HDD+500GB HDD | Win10 Home X64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
