Glad you enjoy them all mate. Has to be said I really enjoyed skinning the ones I did. Learned a few things which was the main objective for me...

i think it would be better both skins had little worn out "türk kara kuvvetleri" fonts. but it is ok.

btw marker, may be something wrong with both rotor and tail rotor.

What's happening to the rotors?

 

I didn't skin the main rotor as it wasn't coloured anyng in your original photo!

 

It seemed ok in my testing.

It's my fault mate. I now know what I haven't done after looking at a couple of other skins.

 

Will get them fixed during this evening and post them over to you!

Upuaut, would you be so kind to take a look at this one? Can you please make it?

 

It is a white-orange-olive Huey of the 101st Hikotai, 1st Konseidan (Composite Brigade), Seibu Homen Kokutai (Western Army Air Group) of the Japan Ground Self Defence Force. These Hueys are based at Naha Air Base on Okinawa.

 

Since the internet doesn't come up with pictures of this particular Huey, I have made a scan from a book called 'HUEY A Helicopter Legend' by Salvador Mafé Huertas.

 

I would really appreciate it if you could give it a go on this one.

I hope the picture is clear enough to see the details. It seems to me the top half of the nose is black and the bottom fuselage, skids and tail rotor gearbox are olive. I hope you can make it happen. Good luck to you and thanks again.

The red tone is not quite right. It should be more ferrari like but that is a very good work nonetheless.

I have a little question for Upuaut, when I watch your last repaint I found that the color is not red but almost brown, is it normal ?

Hi, it is a little bit difficult to find the right colors, because I have a color calibrated display with an extended color space and there it is red like the picture #2 from Skulleader.

 

I do now use my second display for the colors, there it looks like picture #1.

 

I am uploading the skin-file to dropbox. It would be good, if someone can check which red color the skin has on his display has.

So for understand if my display is good calibrate I've put one fire truck and placed my Huey very close of the truck.

for information in my DCS it's nine o'clock and the sun is back the camera...

You can see also my "Hex Code", I use Photoshop V7.0 (old version)...

 

If anybody can tell me if everything is OK, for me the new repaint of Upuaut is red like the fire truck.

For me HDR is OFF, I've tested with HDR "Cold Colors", "Normal" and "Warm Colors" but I cannot obtain the same red like Marker..

I have an ATI 7950...

 

HDR is normal in game!

 

Colour was added via photoshop CS6. Just did a quick replacement colour and painted the skin, nothing fancy.

 

Colour is same in game and in windows.
