Rescheduled again till Saturday. (tomorrow)

NOTE - No updates on scheduling will be on this topic anymore. Zoolander will post when the next session is in the A-10 forums 24 hours before they occur to prevent the confusion. Sorry all, my bad!

I don't know how to reach the instructor, but he said that he would put the mission in drop box. Do you know how to get a hold of him?

Thanks a bunch, JetlinerX. I've always wanted to learn this but never could work up the will to. Him being a crew chief just makes this even more brilliant. Does he actually play this game?

ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P

Oh yeah! He plays it a ton with the rest of us! He enjoys it as well.

Any clue when the next one is?

No clue. If you keep an eye out on this forum area (Main A10 forum) we announce it 24 hours in advance, but they are all recorded by myself in case someone cant make it.

You got a link for the recorded ones? I've only been able to find one video so far.

So far there is only one. The second is uploading, and the instructor and I just made plans for 2 more bonus ones soon, which will be tacked on to the other 2 we already have planned. In other words, there is only one now, but stay tuned as A LOT more are on the way.

Thank god for a "real" crew chief ;)

So, he worked A-10s for "about" 2 years, is he no longer working them and how long ago has it been since he worked them? At DM did he work the ACC or AETC side?

Not trashing the guy just curious as it's a small A-10 community now days.

Here's a story about our "real" new Commander in the 476th. Col Funk was a great guy and my pilot. I'm the APG expediter now so that's why Stanley is on the jet. Talked to Col. Travis for a short time Sunday after the Change of Command, I think he's going to be a good Group Commander for us too.

From the information he gave me when he and I talk, I know he was a maintainer at a training base in Japan. If that does not give you the info you are asking for, let me know and I will shoot over your post to him to give an answer. :)

Japan doesn't have A-10s. DM does, in the video you posted he said he worked A-10s for about 2 years so it would have had to be at DM.

Again, I dont know all the details, I will give you more when he gets home. Sorry if I am just confusing you.

19 years USAF, can promise you I'm not confused.

You said he was in a training squadron in Japan and I simply said he couldn't have worked A-10s there because we don't have any A-10s stationed in Japan (never have). In the video he stated he was at DM for approx 2 years. DM or Davis-Monthan AFB is the home of the 355 Training Squadron and 3 Fighter Squadrons (354th, 357th, & 358th).

There are only a few bases with active duty A-10s CONUS, they are DM, Moody, Nellis, and Eglin.

Everytime I see "real military" show up online, this convo starts. I remember it happening a number of times on the Project Reality forums. Sadly, there were enough 'valor thieves' over there to justify the paranoia.

EDIT. Oh, and about the whole Japan thing, in the video posted at the bottom of page 4 at about 1 minute in he says he was stationed in Japan for 3 years on F-16s.

F-16s in Japan for 3 years, and in Davis-Monthan with A-10s for 2 years. Does that answer your question Paul? Sorry, I am trying my best here. x)
