stk1907 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Hi everyone. Recently in the steam summer sales this sim it's now cheap, so i decided maybe to purchase it. But, reading the specs, i saw that requires a 64 bits OS. I have Win 7 32 bits, so i dont now if i will run it good enought to fly that beast (my others specs are a Core2Quad 2'5Ghz CPU, 4Gb RAM and a GTX 550Ti video card). Thanks for the replies.
schkorpio Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 It'll be fine if you turn down the detail. I recommend turning it all down to the lowest settings and seeing how it runs - if its smooth, then start turning on some of the bling :) Sponsored by: http://www.ozpc.com.au
WannaBeGnome Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 I find this thread about steam summer sales, so i won´t make new. There is my question. My friend is about to buy A-10 in summer sales, but we don´t know if it can be activated in DCS world. So if he buys game from steam, will he get key to activate in DCS world?
HiJack Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Try the unlimited demo. DCS World is free! Just download and install :D
Hypersteff Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Hi, i purchased DCS A-10c on Steam when it was on sale there the last time. Had no problem to activate it in DCS world.
HiJack Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 There is only one "key" system, they are all for the same sim.
WannaBeGnome Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Why on this site http://www.steamgamesales.com/ , it says it costs 15,99 $ and on this http://store.steampowered.com/app/61010/?l=english it costs 19,99 €? (15,99 $ = 12.268 €)
drgig Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Hi, i purchased DCS A-10c on Steam when it was on sale there the last time. PFunk1606688187 Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Usually when I need a key from steam I just right click on the title in my Library list and there's an option to view the game's key. Warning: Nothing I say is automatically correct, even if I think it is.
drgig Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 (edited) Usually when I need a key from steam I just right click on the title in my Library list and there's an option to view the game's key. tried that, no option with anything to do with game key. only one that looked promising was "properties" but didnt find anything on any of the tabs about game key. thanks, but still trying here. EDIT... tip for anyone out there. after purchasing on steam, you must at least start the steam installer on the game. once started, right clicking on the game title with display the option to "view CD key". thanks for the help. WildBillKelsoe Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 the key provided for A-10C grants you activation in Madagascar. You will need this key to activate in world. The module manager allows you to register an account, and add keys (by first time play mission option) which moves you to desktop where you enter the key and the module is activated.
