RAC Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I am currently using a Logitech 3d extreme 3d pro, and I think the joystick is malfunctioning on me because the hud on the A-10 is never centered and the plane never stays in auto-pilot very long, and the ccip line bounces all over the place. What I wonder is what is a good joystick within about a 100 bucks in Canadian dollars that would be a good replacement? I saw this one CH products Combatstick USB and thought it might be a suitable replacement, if not, does anyone have any good recommendations? I don't like force feeback sticks since never never seem to last very long. Thanks in advance for advice.
Sokol1_br Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Perhapes for 100 you buy a Saitek X-52 HOTAS... Combastick is a good, sturdy and durable joystick, but notice that dont have "twist rudder" - if you care about this feature. Sokol1
RAC Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 Thanks Sokol1_br, the Saitek X-52 HOTAS, looks like a pretty good joystick for its low price.
PFunk1606688187 Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Check craigslist, or the local equivalent. I bought one X-52 for $30, another for $50, and got some rudder pedals on the cheap new in the box as well. Warning: Nothing I say is automatically correct, even if I think it is.
Shadow KT Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 I am using the Cyborg v.1...it's a cheap one...it has couple of buttons ...it can twist and it has a throttle 'Shadow' Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days
RAC Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 Okay thanks for the help guys, very much appreciated.
Night Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I would suggest the X-52 Pro, the quality of the materials is better than the regular version.
