JayPee Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 (edited) Can anyone give me the default clip near, mid, and far values for the config.lua? Thanks! Maverick-X Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Hey, I took a look for these values... my config.lua file does not seem to contain these values where should I look for these?
JayPee Posted August 13, 2013 Author Posted August 13, 2013 Theyre called clip_near clip_mid clip_far They all occur 3 times; under low, medium, and high i7 4790K: 4.8GHz, 1.328V (manual) MSI GTX 970: 1,504MHz core, 1.250V, 8GHz memory
Maverick-X Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Sry, should have been more precisely. I haven't found a config.lua containing them and wanted to know where this file is to get the values. I guess I will be able to find these values inside of the file ^^

zaelu Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Is this making buildings not pop in and out of existence when passing closer to them? Also is there a way to put this modified values to autoexec.cfg so they won't be overwritten by autoupdate? thx. JayPee Posted August 14, 2013 Author Posted August 14, 2013 Im not sure what middle and far does, but I do know I have to set near clip to 0.0, otherwise the game bugs on an intel integrated chipset, even if it is explicitly set to only use the dedicated video card. i7 4790K: 4.8GHz, 1.328V (manual) MSI GTX 970: 1,504MHz core, 1.250V, 8GHz memory
