Yet another silly question:

In the controls assignment GUI, 'Right mirror on' and 'Left mirror on' are under R and L, respectively.

However, I can't find anything like 'Top mirror on', or 'Center' or 'Middle'.

Question: where is the control to activate the center mirror?

(also: it'd be nice to have all the mirrors under M, all the trims under T, and so forth)

This could possibly be due to the home language of the programmers. Maybe in their language the word for mirror doesn't begin with the letter (or sound, if cyrillic) 'M' ??

Are you sure anything other than L or R is available for the A10c in the game? I did the export to HTML feature then used the browser search for every occurrence of the word "mirror" and there are only two that I could find.

No, I'm not sure. But I'm sure I can see a mirror on top of the cockpit, same position as the P-51 mirror. Not available at all, huh? Anyone can confirm that's the case?

In Russian, Mirror = Зеркало

The "З" is equivalent to a Z in English in this case, so pronounced Zerkalo.

I would be very interested in seeing how to enable the center mirror as well

The mirror on buttons are not actually mirror control toggles but snap views. Both buttons enable all mirrors, only while the button is held down, and angle the view to the right or left. In both cases, the center mirror is visible, so it should not be much of a problem.

Interesting replies! I guess this is one case, perhaps, where the Beta version of the DCS A-10C differs from the final release version? Anyone who has followed the ED-Wiki training videos by Tyger will see that all three of his mirrors are operating as mirrors.

Of course, this may not be the answer as during his demonstrations of 1/2 Cuban and Cuban 8 his G meter remains at +1 - just how does he manage to do that?? :joystick:

...he probably spend a little time too examine the options>gameplay window and figured out that he has to check teh "mirrors" option to get them working in the A10C.

FYI - there was never a single key command like 'M' to switch the mirrors on/off instantly in the A-10C .

This is a new feature that came with 1.2.5 for the new 6DOF cockpits - up to now it isn't working in the A-10C.
