[OPEN]DCS Multiplayer crash

I have Win8 x64

8GB of RAM

GeForce GTX 550 Ti

Core2Quad Q6600 CPU

DCS 1.2.6 latest public build with FC3 module only

 

Since 1.2.6 more and more and MORE crashes occur.

What the hell is going on here?

I have HW and SW requirements.

I have fresh Win8 and DCS install (1 week old install of both)

I have NO Antivirus installed (it is not infected if someone will be smart ass )

 

So what is going on here?!

Yes, I haven`t tried SP yet...

I'd try a rename of dcs saved games folder temporarily to see if that brings stability back. A reinstall has also proven beneficial if that doesn't work.

Is it connecting to a server, or just launching MP at all.

It always happens in the middle of the play...

Last time it happened I was landing.

Other time I was refueling....

Etc...

Can you confirm that your connection type is set to LAN? Not sure it will matter in this case, but just checking.

Can you try Single Player to see if you get similar results? You system doesnt look bad except your processor is slightly on the lower end. The servers you are connecting to, are they decent pings for you? Or is the ping higher?

Nope, those are fine, I was just checking. Understand in order to properly report I have to find a way to reproduce.

I have windows 8 pro and was crashing in any multiplayer game. I just tried making it windows 7 compatible and run as administrator , so far no crashes

186 is a pretty high ping for a broadband era.

I have 20/20 FTTH with ping to google less than 10ms.

Im in Slovenia if server in Australia or west coast USA you know what u get :)

Well, yeah, the distance to will do that...

 

Playing MP with people that far away is always a bit warpy.

 

I have friends down under, and every game we've played on PC and Xbox Live has been a tad laggy due to the sheer distance.

I had the same error this evening. Wasn't at the putr when the server crashed but had that message.

When I used the link it said I had a newer version already installed.

The problem has only happened on one map. Separatist aggression breakout day. Was opened and saved in the latest version.

Civ traffic was on when it happened. I turned it off and will try again.
