About the #2 by error I press on button of this pannel but impossible to reset this button, where's a solution ?

About the #1, anybody can explain to me the word "DISCH" and his function ?

Once again I would like to thank you in advance for you help. Best regards, Skull.

Hi,

I try to answer with my best knowledge, but I am not sure if it is 100% correct.

1#:

The 1ST DISCH means that the fire extinguisher bottle number one for the left engine has fired.

The 2ND DISCH means that the fire extinguisher bottle number two for the left engine has fired.

Both engines, the APU and the KO-50 (whatever that is), each got two fire extinguisher bottles.

If a detector detecs fire, it will automatically fire the first bottle. This means that the 1ST DISCH light will come on, because the bottle is empty.

If the FIRE light (1st row of lights) is still illuminating some time after the first bottle has been fired, you manually want to fire the second bottle. This is done by pressing those buttons below.

2#

As said above, if you press any of those buttons you will fire the associated fire extinguisher bottle. This means, if you pushed one of those buttons, the bottle is empty. This is the reason why you can't reset those things, because you would have to land, and refill/replace those fire extinguisher bottles first.

3#

That is the test switch as far as I know. How it exactly works you would have to check in the manual, but I guess it allows you to test the diffrent fire detection loops.

Hope that helps,

Jonathan

Some more things to #3:

You should have that switch in the OFF position all the times before you test your fire detector loops. If you move that switch out of the OFF position, will the switch on the left of that panel is in the EXTINGUISH position, you will actually fire your fire fighting bottles. You don't want that.

So to do those test:

-Make sure the switch on the left of the panel is in the DETECTOR TEST position.

-Turn that switch clockwise to every loop, starting with loop I.

-Loop 1 & Loop 2:

All four red fire warning lights should illumiate.

-Loop 3:

Both engines and the APU fire warning light should illuminate.

-Loop 4 & Loop V & Loop 6.

The APU fire warning light should illuminate.

-Move the rotary test switch back to the OFF position.

-Place the switch on the left on the panel to the EXTINGUISH position.

-Check that no lights (neither red nor orange) illumiate on the fire warning pannel.

-Done.

Best regards,

Joanthan

KO-50 is the cabin / cockpit heater. It's no fun flying at minus 30C if you don't have heated cockpit. The unit is located in front of the right fuel tank.
