Long story short: GPU Hawaï has :

- 512bits bus

- 1250 MHz GDDR5 RAM - 16 chips 32bit GDDR5

- 1020 MHz for the GPU

- PCI-Express : 6 + 8 pins (expect 225 to 300 watts peak)

- Chip size about 430mm²

-"The Hawaii die features 4 Compute Units, each CU has 11 SMIDs which makes for 44 SMIDS results in 2816 stream processor count, 176 Texture mapping Units, 44 Raster Operators." (Source, link below)

Also, These arent the Final Specs, they are using an Engineering sample.

That's why I posted the source articles too, have you read?

Engineering Samples have different Memory Configurations than the official specs. :p :music_whistling:

Anyway, now NVidia and AMD seems to be 'on par' with performances. I hope now the prices to be competitive.

It didn't seem quite on par, but that will probably be resolved with more tuning. The problem is, they are late to the party. nVidia is just sitting on their next card, waiting for AMD to release this.
