Space Engine 0.97

To anyone who likes sandboxes, I've always found this program incredibly fascinating. It really puts the scale of the universe into perspective and the procedurally generated planets are deeply detailed. And to anyone interested, it's free to use, though I do recommend giving a donation because the guy who created it did a phenomenal job!

No cockpit view?

The 'ships' are still in alpha, from what I read.

That's what KSP would be for. :P

Nice! Beautiful gas clouds! Is that a first in space-sims? Makes me want to pick up Elite once again. Btw, why no love on the forums for the new Elite-game? Surely I'm not the only one spending way too much time back in the day smuggling slaves into federation-controlled systems?

I know! I wish a developer would buy the code and make a game out it. Can you imagine an economy, exploration, or physics sim on that kind of scale??? :joystick:
