doveman
Damn, I just stumbled across your e-bay listing for "Bell Huey UH1 - Flight Simulator Controller" and from the picture it looked like you were selling a complete collective and all the switches for £98. I thought my dreams had come true and I'd be able to own this most excellent item but then my hopes were dashed when I read the description and saw that it was just for a single switch panel :( You'll probably all say I must be mad to expect to be able to get all that for £98 but that's the point, I don't which is why I was so happy when I saw that someone appeared to be selling it for a price I could afford. So perhaps in future it'd be a good idea to have the first/main e-bay picture showing what is actually being sold, to avoid getting people's hopes up and then disappointing them with the description. Anyway, I'm mainly interested in the collective/throttle as whilst it would be nice to have lots of switches, I can make do with voice commands for most of those So I'll be keeping an eye out to see if your collective is affordable to me when it's ready. Yeah.. sorry about that I should probably change that picture:) Anyway the ebay listing is online for second time now and I was pushed to change the prices quite a bit.. Believe me or not, this is really the minimum that I need to charge for these panels in order to make them.. Good news is that I'm setting up a website for my gadgets where I can avoid terrible ebay fees and go a little cheaper than.. The next part for the collective module is gonna be definitely Lever/Arm and I'm hoping to launch it within April. Stay tuned.. UH1Fan
Nice site Jaroslav. I am very interested in your switch panels. Do you have a rough idea of how much they might cost? I see from your site you're a Catalina fan. I had the good luck to fly one of those for a couple of hours about 20 years ago. If interested look for dhc6pilot on Youtube. I've posted a few videos of firefighting Cansos in Northern Canada.
hansangb
Jaroslav, Could you give me the dimensions of all the panels? Not the pedestal, just the switch panels. I'm trying to figure out if I can make it fit next to my Warthog throttle. Also, have you thought about using templates that can be thrown on top? I know some of the switches will have to be taken off, but when the Cobra module comes out, you could sell the template and the new lua files for some additional money. Just a thought. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "templates that can be thrown on top" There will be interchangeable different sets of panels for different systems and perhaps other planes too.. but all in time :joystick: Thank's

Even one of your pictures has the switches w/o the template (labels) on them. This way, when AH1G module comes out, you can print out the labels and folks can use them for other modules. The layout may not be physically accurate, but it would still be worthwhile. But as you said, all in good time! thanks hsb hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1

The (labels) are actually 5 mm thick painted aclylic panels with letters engraed into the paint. Jaroslav
SELLING the prototype Hey guys.. Because I need to make things easier and cheaper for us I decided to sell the prototype module and buy some more equipment.. I need to put together quite a lot of funds and since the actual design has changed to next gen, I'm offering this module to one of you guys.. I'm also considering a kickstarter campaign that would give me an opportunity to buy this equipment and dive in this project full time. Honestly it's very difficult to do produce truly LOW- COST products with the techniques and options I've got at the moment. So the prototype is fully finished, fitted with Leo Bodnar's BU0836A Joystick Controller (again in the next gen module I'm using BU0836X board). Everything is wired up, recognized as a input device when plugged into USB. I have edited the LUA file for this one as well. For certain reasons I will NOT ship the item so I apologize to our overseas friends but this will be "collection only" or you can arrange a courier and I will wrap it up for you. Please bear in mind that this is not a "factory product" and it will require some maintenance from time to time so if you are not really screwdriver person it is probably not ideal toy for you. Well that's it folks, if you are interested send me PM with your offer and I'll get back to you asap.. Many thank's

Jaroslav
Lever phase.. Hey guys I'm proud to announce that we're done with the panel production for now and all the attention goes towards the most exiting phase of this project.. >Collective Lever Assembly< I'm planning to craft eight sets of Levers in the first run. Considering my "beta" pilots we still have four pieces available. They take 4 - 6 weeks to manufacture and will cost you £230 plus postage. Let me know if you are interested..:pilotfly: Thanks .. SyntaxError
Nice to see the completed unit Jaroslav  I just wanted to ask would the collective and pedestal work without the 3 switch panels or are the panels compulsory? I ask because when I eventually order I can see myself mainly just using the collective the most and controlling the switches via in-game. Another thing would the collective be able to be used separately if mounted on ones own pedestal like wood etc, or does your base contain important parts needed for the collective? I see on your site you warn outside buyers from ordering the base due to a high shipping cost which is a problem for me since I live over the pond. Hi The Lever Assembly contains all you need to use it as a stand-alone controller (except Bodnars board) You can mount it in your existing cockpit with just four screws around the pivot and another four screws for dumper bracket.. However the brackets are part of my "pedestal box" kit. Thanks Jaroslav Edited April 13, 2014 by Jaroslav

Jaroslav
Okay that clears some things up. So is the Bodnars Board something everyone has to order and install by themselves or is it included in one of your products? Hi I don't supply Bodnars boards, just the hardware that works with it. Also some people might prefer to use different I/O boards and that's fine too because my hardware is basically just a bunch of prewired switches, potentiometer and rotary encoders. You mentioned living over the pond. If you are interested in one of the Levers send me a PM with some details where about do you live and I'll get a quote for shipping cost.
