Mi-8 English Cockpit

After my wonderful experience with the Hu-1H, I was about to purchase the Mi-8, the last missing item in my DCS collection, until I saw the Russian Cockpit on DCS' main Site. Well I guess its first birth stage is going threw the same labour as Black Shark One.

 

My question: is there going to be a Mi-8 English Cockpit version soon?

 

As also being a Graphic Designer, I know what it means reworking almost the whole Cockpit, but please, don't let it take as much time as Balck Shark 2.

Once they're there, hope the designer rethink the Cockpit blue colour into something more descent.

 

I love Turquoise blue, but only for my girlfriend's underwear. ;)

 

A neutral colour like in the Huey suits the Army better. :smilewink:

That is neutral - for a russian aircraft.

In France there is the following proverb:

Le bleu attire les amoureux

et le rouge attire les taureaux

 

What means-

The blue attracts lovers

and red attracts bulls

 

So when you jump into a Cockpit in Russia, are you going to big bang someone, or are you planning to get screwed*!

*No sexual connotation! Only maintenance meant for tightening loose screws!

 

But if you've read War and Peace - Dostoevsky, I simply think Russians are in love with war. That explains the Blue(s) everywhere.

Until that happens, the english cockpit mod does just fine....now I can actually understand what I'm doing and why I'm clicking 50 buttons (or what these buttons are for).

I really like the authentic cockpit, so once I've got the start-up procedures learned, I'll probably go back to Russian, but this is a very well done mod - and makes start-up 100x easier.
