nullЧто я не нашел - оптимальные скорости набора и снижения. Интересно, как дальность маршрута соотносится с желаемой высотой эшелона, это специфическое соотношение для каждого типа самолётов, или что-то обобщенное? 478 страниц на английском. Я пока и четверти не осилил. Вообще не знаю, какие параметры набора и снижения используются на С-130, и тем более не знаю, что об этих параметрах думают разработчики. Текст мануала - теория, как оно на практике - не представляю

You could also, since you seem to be very affraid of loosing your money, just wait a few years and then Trial it its 55$ and helps support a really interesting new developer to DCS - and either go for the Pre-Order or wait for the Early Access discount instead if you are too worried... Only fair that there are a diffential discount depending on the time of purchase, and since Ralfidude already is flying the beast, i am guessing there will be other videos and content shown.

Flying low over Berlin is very demanding. I get about 40-50 FPS. I can maintain 72 FPS over Cairo and about 50-60 over London and Paris. This is without shadows and civilian traffic and with range set to extreme. I am using QVFR with Quest Pro.

The F4-U is definitely more demanding. I can still maintain 72 FPS on most maps but it has a higher GPU load. I need to do a direct comparison of frametimes with other modules.

Let's go back to "dumb user"... It appears to be related somehow to only the "Into the Inferno" missions, but everything seems to work fine on other missions, so, I think maybe it's not VAICOM after all... will try and test some more, and see if I can confirm where the problem actually is... in the meantime, you can ignore all that.

Do I understand correctly that renaming the folders won't work until the forthcoming DCS update? The last update was July 28 but it was small and seemed to be hotfix. Will the cockpit fix be in the next update?

Uncontrolled Aircraft as CAS Attack "Groups/Units". Like other vehicles. AI cleans out the SAMs, AAA, and truck convoys from the airfield, but the only thing attacking the squadrons of parked "uncontrolled" A/C are the CAP, strafing them. Have Attack A/C bringing bombs and rockets home. Please advise. Bowie

Похоже на то. В obstacle clearance speed имеется в виду запас скорости в 1.2 раза от скорости сваливания. TOF очень сильно влияет на результат. Что там они в него впихнули? Внешние эксплуатационные факторы? —- Ага, увидел. TOF задает влияние высоты по давлению (высота аэродрома относительно уровня 1013 мб) и температуры. На уровне моря в условиях стандартной атмосферы берется за единицу, точно.

Could be related to the Deactivated Zombie Trains problem as they are doing a similar thing - Trains just continue for ever up in the sky on grass or out to sea locked in a direction when deactivated.

At present on Marianas WW2 vehicles seam to follow a path ok when set to onroad then switched to offroad when the route goes over a railway line then switched back onroad. The railway lines seam to cut the onroad path. Sadly I did create a Narrow Gauge Railway Steam Locomotive and 5 assorted wagons for the islands but have removed them pending a Train Deactivation fix.

Есть и такое, nullnull Только я не могу понять, OBSTACLE SPEED - это аналог VA, безопасной скорости манёвра, или тут какая-то другая идея? Пытаюсь разобраться в документации, больше вопросов, чем понятного. TAKE-OFF FACTOR я считаю за единицу, есть таблица для его расчета, но пока не важно.

Is this being released as EA, or full release? I thought the pricing on EA is discounted? (Not pre release price but still closer to it than full price?) Have you heard any different, because you’re scenario seems to expect it not to go to EA price but full price immediately on release? Historically, pre-release have been 30%, and EA 20% discounted. Seems to me that’s fair. An extra ~ $6usd savings for those who know they want it regardless and buy, and ~ $6 extra for those who wait until after release but still buy EA. $6 difference for insurance/security for those who want public reviews doesn’t seem unreasonable to me, ( or $6 savings for those who show support by pre-ordering seems pretty reasonable). Personally, I’ve never understood preorder on a digital product that doesn’t have limited stock, and would prefer to pay $6 for the insurance, but I also don’t think it’s not unreasonable for those who invest and commit early to get that extra bit of a savings. I’ll always advocate for choice. I think the way it’s been released couldn’t be better… unless there’s something you know that I don’t, such as this being released with no EA? If so, please let me know.

So I'm revisiting this topic I found an answer for my problem I I know it's been a while but sometimes I have to neglect my gaming Anyway What is going on here that I have some sort of realism thing ticked off somewhere in my setup And it doesn't allow me to see red forces on the f10 map But they are there and they will shoot at me As I learned yesterday when I was practicing wild weasel So to answer this problem yes they are there and no it has nothing to do with the mod If you look really really close on the f11 you can see them This particular mode requires me to have to use the sensors on the aircraft to locate the enemies I LOVE IT! I'm retired Navy operation specialist I can handle that!

Flew a P47 mission today (Wolfpack DLC), bomber escort. We mixed it with FW190s and Me 109s. A FW190 was on fire, trailing heavy smoke and kept flying around in circle at about 3000 feet. I could not catch it with 52 in of manifold. He flew like that for 5 minutes (at least) and I gave up. He never crashed. I flew another 20 minutes going home and it was never recorded destroyed, he's probably still out there on fire doing 400 mph. I have encountered this several times before.

Tried it with cockpit global illumination turned off and it helped. Still only getting 40 fps versus 80 with P47. Spikes here and there, but at least it's flyable.

I will try turning cockpit reflections off, thank you. For others, note that I said this is not limited to the Mariana map (although it is the worse). It alsho happens on the Normandy map, on the ground, with zero other aircraft. Only for the F4U, all other aircraft OK. AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, X870 Gaming Plus Motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, 128 GB RAM. Meta QUest 3.
