  1. Like what Konny said, this has been a major bug since the beginning. This also happens when playing one player but tends to happen more in a multiplayer environment. Very annoying indeed! The sound department is not one of LOMAC's strongest area. Have you heard IL2's? Nice positional sound right there.

  3. I have to ask this cause it's been really bugging me for a long time now... are you guys (ED) at least trying to fix this sound dissapearing when one respawns? Every time I enter a server and get hit, when I respawn, I will at least loose engine sound... and sometimes even flaps and airbrake and chaff sounds.... it ends up being like in space :helpsmilie: Any word from developers on this issue?

  4. I'm trying to put together a small mod for in-cockpit breathing sounds. In the file link below are 3 files: breathc, breathf, breaths that I got from Open Falcon. I would put it together myself but I’m afraid I’m not proficient in any sound joining software. http://download.yousendit.com/7760EB956DB2D76B Please if anyone could help me, please step forward. Here is some tip that I believe is right, but correct me if I’m wrong. If I were to guess, I believe breathf and breaths should combined with goverlimit, and maximum within the Sounds\Computer\USA or RF or GER folder. Keep in mind, whoever can help me with this that the breaths sound I got from OF probably needs to be cut down to a little over 1 sec (since it was kinda long for 3 sec). This is how I imagine it, once you start pulling the high G, it sound start with the breathf, then breaths (maybe a couple of repeats) and end it with another breathf. The breathc sound should be joined with CockpitSystems file located at Sounds\Effects folder. Cheers to anyone that can help me.

  7. Plenty of sound bugs since the day it came out. Losing hydraulics sounds after getting shot down. Loud engine sounds persist after returning to cockpit view from airfield view. Can sometimes be fixed by changing view to a quiet airport.

  8. Yup, that was me. :D Got myself a total of 15 A2A kills in that mission. It got to the stage that apart from covering Vapor (FAC) and Brewber (my wingie) over the battlefield, I was also protecting our fighters as well... so, as you can guess I was pretty smug with myself that night. :D A total of 3 F-15's fell that night, 2 by vihkrs and 1 even falling to an R-60 from a Su-25A...... ain't that right GG. :music_whistling:;) Got punished for it afterwards though.  On the original point though, about any AGM-65 air kills. IIRC Noti is a master at that with a lot of kills.

  9. Right, here's the native betty versions. I've looped the German max-g ogg over to break up the breathing sound a little - hope it's ok. Again, I've got the project file for it if you want any changes. sounds.zip

  10. Thanks for the answer on what the HUD should display. The manual and Yo-Yo are saying it is KIAS, but Yo-Yo is using 350 knots on the HUD to do his climb profile. I still have no answer as to why Yo-Yo is using a 39,000lbs aircraft for comparison to a 40,000lbs Dash-1.
