One of our IAF F-15 pilot managed to take a few shots of this
amazing sand storm that took place a couple of weeks ago.
the top of the storm was 8000 ft. high, and it moved at 60 kmh.
on the final picture you can observe when the storm hits an israeli
air base, enjoy:
Hi JEFX,
I like you was curious about the signal strength for different AC that why I did the tests that my 159th team mate (Viper) directed you to. Its a bit of reverse engineering and is only ment to be a guide. The big caveat to using this data is you have to be sure what AC your up against, otherwise you could be in for a surprise.
Here is the data laid out around the RWR.
Sorry to butt in ... but the only way I was able to know for sure that I had all the ATI drivers removed from my computer I used Driver Cleaner Pro . But I caution you to remove the drivers with this program and then immediately install drivers that you find on ATI's website. Because once you use this program if you restart your computer you will not have the basic drivers to run your computer in its 256 color mode ... or whatever. I could be wrong about this but this is what happened to me.
Make a long story short this program is a great way to cure any video card issues caused by corrupt drivers ... or in your case programs crashing to desktop due to conflicts caused by drivers. This gives you a fresh clean slate to start from so that you can install drivers that you know are good and not install good drivers over bad ones which places back at square one.
I know Im getting a little long winded but try re-installing your drivers in this order.
1. use ATI uninstall utility
2. restart (this should render your desktop to the ugly 256 color mode)
3. once your back at desktop (assuming you already downloaded and installed DC pro) fire up DC pro and click "ok". The setup is pretty self explainatory just remember to click the little box that says mutiple options or something like that.
4.Then from the drop down box on the right go through all the selections that say ATI and add them to the list. I suggest selecting all of them just to ensure that you have all drivers removed.
5.Click the start button and then click "ok". It will take a few seconds and then your done. If you want you can click the "details" tab and it will show all the drivers that were removed.
6. Now assuming that you have downloaded the latest drivers for your card from ATI fire up the installation wizard and install your new drivers.
Sorry I went all out on you there but I know the pain and suffering that comes with Video Card drivers as I just went through this with a previous ATI card. Hope this helps bud.

I agree and I am not against changing things during other missions within the exercise.
For this first mission we are going to set the bar low with rules and ROE's. I am more concerend with getting us all together and seeing how it works.... we can tweak things as we go.
Oh and BTW, The only n00b in this exercise is me! :D
Once you remove all the drivers the card will most likely be listed as an unknown device until you install the new drivers.
That is how it works with the nvidia cards any way. From memory I would run the uninstall as you did removing all ati components then I would download the ATI uninstall utility from their website and run it to be sure all drivers have been removed. After reboot if you are prompted for drivers just click cancel and then install the newest catalyst or what ever driver you want.
Hope this helps you.

Actually in real RED FLAG there's a computer that crunches some numbers, rolls a die, and tells you if you've been killed when the other guy pulls the trigger.
Kuky: Yes I agree with you, my Cougar was and still is my most treasured piece of flight sim hardware... And then it was IJ's NXT mod that really brought this stick into focus.. Mine is about 4 years old as well but it looks almost as good as the day I pulled it out of the box... But the Simped pedals and Track IR are running a close second...
I think that's its very sad that the gentleman that produces the simpeds has cancer, Even though hes sick he's still producing these wonderful pedals in a workshop in back of his house in Bavaria ... What courage !!!!
