  4. I believe it will show as a joystick. So you just map the axis and buttons inside Lockon/Blackshark. Also check out the A-PAC controller from Ultimarc, and my SIM Panel tutorial (in my sig): The Ultimarc A-PAC page Cheers,

  13. What does that landing (which is real) have to do with 1v1's? And yes, there were 1v1's. Not only is there evidence, there's after-action reports and I'm pretty sure you can hear about some of them on Dogfights or something.

  15. To be fair, we should mention that ED has not modeled the IFF system on the Ka-50, either. IFF and defense suites are very sensitive subjects and ED has to tread carefully in these areas to avoid problems. If IFF does get implemented (and I think it will at a later time), it will likely be a pretty basic on/off deal, where the AI will recognize you as friendly when it's on and not so much when it's off.

  16. Screenshot above the forest is indeed the greatest. I really like what ED have achieved after they joined their forces with SIM-MOD team. Is it "faked" orbital mechanics, or real orbital mechanics? Is this time world a spherical real size Earth with more detailed areas and empty ones, or is it still flat like it is in LOCKON? If we switch to F11 view and raise our view ALT to 300KM would we actually see that DCS world is a sphere?

  21. Change my mind quickly. I was so wroong! We hardly need english ckpt as an option as soon as possible. TekaTeka help! Does Mission Editor work already? Could some one make a clip preparing mission for track before with ai traffic in the background? I would really like to see couple more HD 3d models at once as well as their behaves. I mean in simple day operations conditions in airfield proximity. No need for seeing battle clip again.

  22. Rank and Cone. One thing about this is that occasionally I have had a ground unit group simply stop when I had it changing formation between off-road, rank and cone. I seem to recall it was dependent on the number of units in the group. During your mission creation, you might want to do a mission run through (at accelerated speed) watching your ground units to double check they do change formations correctly and actually travel all the way to where you want. While I'm talking about the ME and ground units - don't forget they can't cross rivers unless you have them on-road and using bridges. Also, if a vehicle is off-road and in hilly terrain, it can only handle a gentle slope, it won't go up or down any kind of vaguely steep hill.

  25. It is in the manual: Personnel and minor structures – 5 m. Cars and armored vehicles – 10 m. Tactical aircraft and helicopters – 20 m. Transport and strategic aircraft – 30–60 m. Buildings – 20–60 m. Ships – 60 m. but I noticed example: Vehicles: about 10 m (but 5 m works also but example for tank is needed minimum 7-8 m) Planes: about 20 - 25 (fighters), bombers like example Tu-95 is about 50-60, A10 about 30. Buildings: depends on type so usually from 20 to 60.
