Some shots of my new scenery for DCS and LOMAC:FC 2.0. Game engine shots coming soon. This is the rough coverage area (about 500km x 500km). Many possible scenarios include: -China invades Russia -NATO vs China and Russia after occupying North Korea (the sequel to Falcon 4.0 :lol:) -North Korea vs United Nations Russia and China and NATO combined force -Chinese and Russian joint air force training exercises NASA's 30m Detail Elevation Map data: Color corrected Landsat 7 mapped onto DEM data: 3D Studio Max 2008 with ED Plugins

A lot of people tryed their best to explain the limitations of this sim to you. All of us would like higher FPS, nicer looking game but most of us managed to uderstand that one works with one has. No amont of whining will change the game. You accept it or you move on. You will be missed but the community will survive.;)

I am lower my settings, but that is not the point or you are just another dumb ass who do not wanna understand wtf i am saying and acting wiseguy:music_whistling:. Point is, that i do not wanna lower my settings cos every other game runing smoothly, but this game from this publicier running like "tttttttttttttttttt" on high setings. FIX ENGINE OR WHAT EVER YOU HAVE TO DO. so much money for PC and playing like this, 15$ is too much for game running like this.

Zeljava, you've obviously never heard of LOD. Nor did you bother to read or even try to understand the point that somehow my computer, with it's 9800, gets much better performance than your much more modern GTX260. If you have any clue about computers, you'll know that this indicates that something other than graphics is the bottleneck - for example the very old processor you have with it's separate and tiny L2 caches, miniscule RAM amount etcetera. It doesn't matter if you have a GTX260, the graphics load here is such that you'll get exactly the same performance with an 8800GT. You don't need more than that. (People have investigated that, you know.) Now either stay on the topic, or don't post. This derail is over. As a reminder, the topic of the thread is tips to assist in boosting performance in Lock On. I'm a hopeless romantic. :P

Well ok son, i get it now, this game will be crapy engine forever, it is so funny when i see how they makeing 3d modeling for SAM sistem where i from 4km alt see just a dot! now this is very smart move from ED:megalol:, i see now where are they calculate mathematics or physx operation, i saw in BS that one truck has very nice tires, i was always wont to have that in simulator=game nice looking SAM guy:megalol::megalol::megalol:

haha, each forum has a troll, and we've got ours... When was the last time you played F4:AF. I mean the stock version with the stock textures. Yeah it runs great (despite a decent amount of graphic bugs and glitches that need tweaks - but hey americans made it so its great right? :D ). And yes the LO:FC engine is not perfect, and so what. You need a quite powerful system to run it at max, and so what? Things are the way they are, period. As I see you are complaining about something, and when you are proven wrong, you just change the subject. When again you're overwhelmed with facts, you either jump back to the previous and start repeating or change to something new... It is starting to get funny. I'm not reading your post seriously anymore, and its kinda funny :D

2x3.0 GHZ is just 1x3.0 GHz, because Lock-On is a 32 bit software only utilizing one core. Try to make it 3.2 or 3.4 GHz and you'll note a difference. And please stop ranting just because you are frustated. Nobody wants to read that here and I'm speaking for the rest of the community here (except yourself).

Проглядывая хабр заметил статью о игре под iPhone. Эдакий симулятор ПВО (вот бы в Lock On такое), да симулятор не простой, а использующий дополненную реальность. Помню еще учась в институте интересовался этой темой... Да что слова, смотрим ролик: на всякий случай: p.s. порадовало словосочетание Lock On в игре :) p.p.s не порадовало то, что в основном обстреливали "наши" ЛА, а в особенности акулу :cry:

ну, насчет не покупать не уверен, там же другой движок, совместимость по сети с ЧА..

no one is saying alienware is crap, just that alienware is really wasting money "nowadays".alienware isnt what it used to be, but what it is now really is over priced for what it is. look...if you want alienware because of who they are, thats fine. belive me when i say this, hiring a professional ma and pop computer store can build you a highER end pc than alienware for the same price. we're talking up to 1000 dollars in parts alone! that quad sli gtx295 alienware they sell (hypothetically speaking) sells for 4500. you can have one professionally built same specs but maybe with mad water cooling for the same price. see what im saying?

Great you give your opinion zdXu, but back it up with reason. I think you need a good forum lesson.

Учитывая, что в основе подавляющего большинства языков программирования высокого уровня лежит именно английский язык, польза от владения оным неоспорима. Более того, я лично не считаю возможным для айтишника достичь серьёзного уровня без знания английского. Камрад, не поверишь, в той же Японии ключевым экзаменом на технические факультеты в ВУЗах является именно английский язык! Суммируя вышеизложенное, скажу просто - учи английский, без него плохо!
