Hi chaps, Having recently received the TM MFD's, and them just standing on my desk with my second monitor displaying the MFCD's, I thought to myself that it was time to build something. So, I thought about a frame which my TM Warthog stick mounts to, and my second monitor which I also should be able to move to a LCD frame hanging from my desk or something. This is the idea that I came up with: two sheets of aluminium, poprivitted together, with the left side on the picture being the width of my desk. I would fasten it from the bottom with 2 big screws and at the top with a couple of clamps. The monitor would be mounted to a frame as can be seen here: And the backside of the monitor, which slides into the slot of the previous picture: The MFD's I would mount to a multiplex wooden frame, which fits exactly over my second monitor. And with a TM MFD on it (not yet attached, that I will do with velcro's, alternatively you could screw it into place): The end result, after a lot of mounting, swearing, cutting, drilling, poprivitting: I'm probably going to use the excess space on my second monitor for helios stuff, but that's for later. The mounting Clamps: And the screws: This system appears to be very solid (appart from a little twisting when I'm throwing my Warthog around very enthousiaticly :D ) Next on my wishlist: Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals UFC kit I hope this can inspire some folks to some new ideas :) Cheers,

Wow! You just solved my 'how the hell am I going to mount this' solution. This is perfect! Nice job! Would love to see pics when you get the rest of the gauges set up. Thanks!

Looks good. Using the pots with the bodnar board is easy. The pot will show up as an axis on the joystick and you can map them directly in DCS. As a quick note you can use a common ground with the bodnar board buttons. That means you can run one ground wire from the board and just run the ground from switch to switch. This can help with wire management since it cuts the number of wires running from the panel by nearly half.

Я пересечений по айпи и айди не нашел, но если мне не изменяет память из этого диапазона некоторое время назад какойто шутник вписал мой ник и расстрелял борта на пилотажном серве...как домой приду еще раз проверю. Поясните пожалуйста человеку не сведущему. Можно ли будет устанавить ожидаемый add-on (как я понял :music_whistling: ) при условии обязательного сохранения ЧА вер. 1.0.2. на том же жёстком диске (W7)? Т.е. не будет между ними конфликта :doh: ? А то пока «старые Кампании» :thumbup: перепрошьют под новую версию, пока «новые Кампании» разработают :smartass:, … Хорошо бы «старые Кампании» ЧА сохранить в полной боеготовности :joystick:. Чтоб уууууууууххх :pilotfly: !!! P.S. И все же жалко, что не удалось "наладить взаимодействие родов войск" (наземка и летуны не слышат вертолетчиков, а оные взаимодействуют - только в своем "звене"). Haha the first thing I thought was, I had that chair! It's sitting right next to me, looking rather sad as my new Herman Miller snarls at it :P HOWEVER! Your idea is awesome! Looks like a truly affordable way to get a very good and comfortable flying position! Kudos to you sir :)

Finally got back to some 3D modeling of the pit and managed to finish the left console structure and get started on an emergency brake handle / seat height adjust housing. The main housing is done, it just needs the screw holes and the pull handle hole added. The quickly made backplates are to verify the dimensions will be correct for use in real panels and the length of DZUS rail that will be necessary. Now with the structure modeling done I have a concrete set of dimensions to work to when it comes time to build the console and I know for a fact that it will work with real panels and parts. I need to add in some small details such as nut plate locations and the such, but overall it's good to go. On the part acquisition front, I found an AOA gauge, one of the Oil Pressure gauges, the Cabin Pressure gauge for the environmental panel, the proper switch for opening and closing the canopy, and a few other little odds and ends. стесняюсь спросить, но чем полезны навыки полученные в А-10с? Собираешься угнать самолёт? Я уже представляю эту картину. Подходит на МАКСе Епонский бот к штурмовику и просит посидеть в кабине. Тут улучается момент, бот закрывает фонарь и выполняет всю процедуру запуска на фоне удивлённых и ополоумевших от неожиданности Американских военных и обывателей. Потом выключает движки, всу и открывает фонарь с лицом которая отображает картинка П.С. И конечно же потом толпы фанатов, репортаж по телевидению, свой блог в ЖЖ -"Как я запустил самолёт изучив мануал А-10С" и эксклюзивная лимитед эдишн серия джойстиков Хотас Вартог Епонский бот с ярко красной подсветкой. ...фух, бот надеюсь ты не обидешься ибо я сам поржал)))
