This was helpfully to me, some basic multi monitor fundamentals. It is not dcs, and dcs certainly doesn't provide the multi monitor support that this does, but should. I think that Ed seriously underestimates the volume of people out there using these monitor configs. Hope it helps.

Agree, there's an option in mouse settings that rings your invisible cursor when you press Ctrl or something like that ? Best work around I can advise at present. Had this issue a long time, ever since setting up triple monitors.

Same, multi monitor thing I think. Ctrl alt del then cancel, restores cursor, well it does until next time.

Turn to target does not work in FD mode, nor does auto hover.

This platform has many tools in the bag, use them all, but use them wisely. There is no right or wrong way, what works, works, and what doesn't, doesn't. The AP channels are great for flying a course or heading (bit like using cruise controll on your car), but you wouldn't use cruise controll for parking or tight maneuvering would you ? The AP channels are also very usefull for presidion engagement both static and mobile, as is FD mode. FD mode is great for tight manouvering, wheather it be evasion or positioning yourself between buildings, take off/landings etc. AP channels and FD mode are fundamentally the same, AP mode gives max stabilization but limited pilot authority where as FD gives less stabilization and more pilot authority. The choice is compromise and situation specific, choose wisely. Another form of trim (which Is discussed rarely and seriously neglected) is the collective brake. The collective brake should be squezed prior to making altitude adjustments via the collective, just like you would trim the pitch/roll & yaw conventially. If on board equipment is fitted, it is fitted for a purpose. I have many tools in my personal collection and avoid using screwdrivers to knock in nails, but, you can do if you want.

Seriously, do we really need all this eyecandy, advanced animations, smoke, debris, explosions, etc etc. is this product not supposed to be a flight/combat simulator ? Since owning this product I have learnt more about computers than flight & combat. Leave all the eyecandy to the arcade games, and let's get back to the fundamental basics, flight & combat simulation. Optimism is waning.

Too many sensitive new age guys here, I wonder how many still live with mum ? The fact of the matter is, the only time the devs seem to respond is if someone spits the dummy. When they do ( spit the dummy) you get this overbearing volume of the same people who appear to share the same bed, spouting the same cliche's & retrik (when it's done, when it's finished,when it's ready, and the devs are doing it from the kindness of there heart) Pffff. This forum is feeling more like a cult than a community. It's a shame the devs arn't more proactive than reactive, this is my whole point. We are all potential customers and PR is a crucial part of any business. Talk to us and we shall understand ? Label me a heathen, then so be it, no doubt you will be thanking EB for the update, thanks for the update EB.I don't expect any support, the masses are to passive, though I'm sure many think likewise ?

Do these guys recieve money or perks from ED for writing this defensive stuff or are they simply shareholders ? I'm supposed to have moved on, guess its just old habit after 5 months. Well, I have moved on, downloading X Plane as I type, sorry Belsimtek, perhaps in the future ? I'm here for the flying, ED's here for my money. Simply, I need something refreshing and they're not providing it. I provide this feedback with good intentions, ED need both positive and negative feedback to prosper, otherwise they continue down the same track to doom, and nobody wants this. The community provides ED continuous feedback through this forum, just think they could do much better in return ?

I own both T/W & X65f, prefer the X65f hotas but prefer the T/W throttle. As I have a modified T/ flight hotas as a collective, I only use the split throttle as a throttle ( not collective), I do not use the T/W at all nowadays and use the X65f for everything (Shark, Bell 206 dodo, R22, P51d and even the A10c). The X65f takes a little getting used to,you can change your force settings in flight, heaps of buttons & rotarys to assign, no need for mouse & keyboard anymore, once I got familiar with it, there was no turning back. Every now and then I retry T/W to see if I missed something, but keep reverting back to the X65f. Don't think you could go far wrong with either, and both are well made. Good luck.:joystick:

Hey Ice C:prog files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Config/View/View lua/Line 136 (Ka50) :- Change 120 to what ever suits you best. I run at 6048 x 1080, 145 works for both KA and P51d. I think all A/C are listed here ? Good Luck.

I'll buy fc3 if they promise to can it, then we can have our 1.2.4 & Huey, just kidding. :smilewink:
