? Real mature. NTTR in 2.2 run great. 2.5 NTTR no so. There the same engine. New updates are known the have problems. Oceandar did that.

I have an RX 580 (just updated signature) 2.2 NTTR Im having good performance. 2.2 and 2.5 are to my understanding are the same. Looks like Im not the only one with game FPS low.

The only way to get the game to run smooth is to look only at the sky. My FPS are 40 to 60. Before 2.5 game runs great when I dont get a Freeze.

We should not have to edit any file to get the game to work.

I cant get the JTAC ground units to mark targets with IR at night. IR works in the A10. Is this broken. Please move posted in wrong spot.

The two 680 is to get me by for now. Computer has been down for two months. Im on the fence with what im looking at. I like the Strix cards. The 480 is 1330 in boost mode around 220.00. The 1060 has 1873 boost at 260.00. Is it worth spending the extra 40.00. I think so but that on my limited knowledge.

Thanks Skatezilla I got SLI working but I do see a loss of performance with 4 monitors. Funny. I will go with on of those cards. Im in the middle of a business startup and funds are low. Is it me are does the smoke trails look different with the 680s

Well here is a funny thing. A good friend who owned a business built 4 computers. After a year he closed shop and had. He just handed me two GTX 670s FTW. If I can get the two cards to run in SLI this might be a better option. Ive never set up two cards before.

Well it seams my GPU has had enough. After some driver crashes the 7970 started giving my two red stripes on my screens. Now after boot up I get nothing. Im running 4 monitors at 1680x1050 each. Im not looking to run maxed settings. Before getting this card I just want to make sure its better. Any advise will be good. If a 1060 is better at the same price range I'm not against it.

I want to create a mission the has 10 flags for tasks. What is the best way to randomly select one of the 10 flags but also have all flags eventually selected. Example Mission start flag 4 true /target dead/flag 8 true/target dead/flag 2 true next time Mission start flag 10 true/ target dead/flag 1 true/ target dead/flag 4 true

I looked and dont see how this could help. My computer has gone to 100% after opening helios. It has after opening firefox while DCS was down loading a traning mission,and while running Serif Photo Plus. I dont konw what else to do. Do I reformat again?

Im having issues with my computer going to 100% CPU. This has happened 4 times. To give the story. I reformatted my computer in December of last year. I did this because of problems with NTTR map but come to find that VSync turned on made the sim load ground textures slowly. Last night I had DCS load the training mission for the SU25. While it was down loading I opened fire fox to look for videos on the SU25 the my computer went to 100% and had to force a shut down. Just A few minutes ago after flying for about an hour, I closed out DCS and changed my Helos profile from SU25 to the Mig-21 then my computer went to 100%. I have never had this problem before reformatting windows 7 64. I got the task manager open and show processes for all. System 496K NT Kernel & System was at 99 CPU all other processes at 0 Guidance and suggestions needed.:helpsmilie: The other two times this has happened was using a program PhotoPlus by Serif

I have had two driver crashes this week. 1st was A10 Georgian Foothills that I changed to night 2:00. It happened while using NVGs 2nd was Russian Foothills that I added in the weather cloud density to 9 and thunderstorms. When lighting flashed in front of me crash. Im running 17.1.1 radeon. I have had no problems with stock missions. Any suggestions on what to look for.

Bignewy could you explain more on the system managed pagefile. Is there a setting best for DCS

I jumped in to the A10 last night and flew 2hours with the CAS Infinity mission with no problems.
