  1. Not that I know of. The new G940 and X65F have much finer control and require the programmer to code to these new standards.
  2. Eagle Dynamics needs to address the Logitech G940 in there code so that it works correctly. You can tweak all you want but it is always a trade off for something else. My suggestion is that Eagle Dynamics try testing the G940 with both Black Shark and Lockon before they release another patch. Please fix the Force Feedback of the stick in Black Shark so I can hover the Black Shark already.
  3. Logitech has bugs with profiler set to Global (i.e. Mode 2,3 don't work). Why doesn't Eagle Dynamics just test there software so that it works with the Logitech G940. ED why don't you look into this already for both DCS Black Shark and Lockon. How many people have to ask for this to be fixed before you actually do it??? Its one of the top of the line HOTAS systems on the market, you think they would want it to work with there product. Matt if you need a G940 to test I will gladly ship you one, If you will try to fix the centering issue in DCS.
  4. It would be nice if ED would just take a look at the Logitech G940 and tweak it so the stick does not flop around so much in the center. It needs to center properly. This would allow me to use normal setting on the Joystick that would reduce the number rotor blade collisions. How about ED think you can look at fixing the Logitech G940 to work properly with Black Shark???
  5. F-18E Superhornet and US based aircraft carriers with a LOS view to evaluate carrier approaches. We need more US based aircraft to even the playing flield.
  6. ED did not program the G940 to include centering forces in the stick so it is impossible to get DCS Black Shark helicopter to hover properly using the Logitech G940. How is it in FC2.0?
  7. F-18 and US based carrier ops F-18 and US based carrier ops.
  8. Sorry for the noob question but I cannot figure out what I need to buy to run FC2.0 I have never purchased Lockon or Flamming Cliffs before. Do I need to buy all three product? Can I download or do I have to buy the CD for Lockon first? Can someone explain which software products I need? I live in the US, is there a US website that I should go to? Thanks, Gonzo:helpsmilie:
  9. Well, you all have given me good advise to think about the next time I fly. I will try to be smoother on the controls, as you saw this has been happening quite a few times and usually during nothing more than just trying to stabilize the helocopter. Gonzo
  10. I was using right rudder to stablized my heading drift. I wonder if the trim got added together, because, I do remember hitting the trim button about 2 seconds before it broke. all I know is that I have gone through a lot of blades. Gonzo
  11. I know the Logitech G940 is a new joystick, but I was wondering if it could be responsible for some of my rotors snapping off. I have included a track from my first mission on the Deploy Campaing. You can fast forward to the 10:00 min part where you will see me just trying to smooth out the KA-50 after a left hand climbing turn. I have my G940 profiler turn the X,Y axis down on the joystick to 30%. I did this due to lack of centering when using the force feedback. Some people have refered to it as slop in the 20% range of the stick. I am not saying that this is the problem, just wondering if it might be contributing. Thanks, Gonzo:book:
  12. I like the FF functionality, I just wish it worked properly. I have not gotten the blue screen yet, but knowing windows give it time. To bad they don't make these sims so they can run on a mac. I reboot my mac once a year, I reboot my PC everyday.
  13. Is there anyone at ED even testing the Logitech G940, Saitec, CH, or other Hotas systems to determine whether the reported problems are bugs that need addressing by either company. Maybe we can start a thread to discuss ways to work around some of the issues we are seeing so we can get our different Hotas systems working with DCS BS. I have search this forum and seen similar problems with different Hotas systems. I agree that the Logitech G940 defininitly has its share of issues, but it does not look like Logitech is going to release any patch soon to fix there problems. Because some of these problems exist on different Hotas systems it might be prudent for ED to look into some of these issues before releasing the next module or update so that these isssues don't get passed on to other products. I have to say that the G940 works very well with IL2 but does not work very well with DCS. Some of the issues I am seeing are listed below: 1. Shkvak uncage using the POV goes into Auto scan mode on first click. 2. Shkval goes off completly in one direction without being able to bring it back. 3. Fire button cannot be properly programmed in the Logitech's profiler due to the delay required in holding down the button. It is either getting confused at times with the release key or the program delay is not properly being reconized by DCS. 4. Single press of the fire button at time fires all rockets from the gun pod. 5. Joystick POV keys cannot be mapped in DCS because they are not reconized key strokes. 6. To much center freedom for the joystick to move around. Force Feedback brings joystick back to new center when re-trimmed, but the center has to much play allowing the stick to flop over in the center around 20%. (also called slop). This makes it very difficult to trim or Auto hover. There are a lot more if you search the forum. I am not sure where to start, I just wanted to know if either company is working together to try to fix them. Regards, Gonzo
