  1. You should not have to change your ID at all I thought. I maybe wrong, but that's what I read.
  2. Not sure I understand your problem, but my FAC is in the Blue coalition I am still have problem not receiving data in the TAD and not being able to desiginate Static objects.
  3. I had no luck getting my Ground JTAC to reconize an Ammo bunker. It would make a great target due to the secondary explosions, but the JTAC does not issues a 9-line brief if I tried to desiginated it.
  4. I had JTAC working, but as soon as I added second JTAC in MP mission I lost both JTAC. Not sure what each aircraft group ID should be set to or whether the task Number in the list is affecting it. Bottom line it is not working in MP now. I wondet why ED has not documented a set of proceedures for how to use JTAC in SP and MP missions one or more JTAC's?
  5. I'm positive it was not the order, because i never added it. It was included when I added a new vehicle that support JTAC that is why it was always added as the first line.
  6. I was able to get SADL working again. I was not enough to add back EPLRS to my JTAC vehicles, or to make sure they were set to true. I had to completely delete the vehicle and add it back so that the ME added the first-line under Advance Trigger Events and it read "EPLRS(true) -a" It seems important that the ME add the line when you add the vehicle and that the line appeared greyed out with the '-a' and set to true.
  7. When using the IP Object in the ME how to you know what Steer Mode to select? I have check the GUI guide and there is nothing I can find that really describes the different modes and when to use them. My JTAC does not seem to use them. Could someone elaborate on the different Steer Modes and how they should be used with JTAC (To To, To From, Direct, Terminal, Approach, Enroute)
  8. I am using an armed ground unit with a good line of site to the target, but I am not seeing the red triangle in my TAD after I get my 9-line brief and enter my UTM coordinates. I am not getting the option in my TAD like Wilco to accept. Am I doing something wrong. I checked my ground JTAC and he has EPLRS set to true. Yes this is a MP mission and I checked my Grp ID and own Id are both set to 01 and I am the host.
  9. I've dedicated my second machine just to running as a MP server for DCS A-10. It has the same hardware shown below and it's up and running now. I have just not used it to host yet. So I am very interested on how DCS wants us to standardize these servers so we can grow our community. We might want to create a sub forum with the top five areas that we need to address to get started. I moved from New York to Florida so I lost my 100 megabit pipe. Right now I only get 30MB down and 5 MB up. I am in the process of trying to increase my bandwidth.
  10. I have a second machine with the same specs show below with it's own IP that can be used as a sever 24/7

I notice that with the 1.1.0.8 patch the GPU's are all being used up to 80 to 90%. I have not changed drivers, still using EVGA driver for the GTX 590. Before the patch I was seeing the GPU's going only as high as 35%. Now all four are going as high as 90% at times. Frame rate is solid so not sure what's changed.
  12. I am not sure this ever worked, but I have notice with the latest patch 1.1.0.8 that the cockpit lighting is much more relalistic now, but it would be nice if I could turn on the Signal Light Brightness switch to 'Bright' during the daytime so the annuciators light do not look so dim. Cockpit does look great ED. Framerate even looks solid so far using the TGP and MAV IR displays.
  13. I'm not seeing the Canopy Glare inside the cockpit. I have all my settings high, is their some setting I might be missing?
  14. I tried using Signal Flares by setting up a trigger zone that when my aircraft entered the zone the signal flare would fire. I was unable to get the flare to only fire once, but I could trigger them by using the Continous Trigger Event. Should I be able to use just the Once Trigger Event so I can get only one flare to fire from the ground instead of continuously firing? Also, I notice that the Blue flares don't seem to work, but the other colors do.
  15. Dual Core means two, what if you already have six (i7 990X). Maybe the question should read two or more?
  16. Yes and probably two for my friends. The patch work ED had has done has earned it.
  17. Can we get a list of what has been fixed and what still needs to be worked?
  18. We don't know if they even finished the product or fixed all the bugs, don't you think its a little premature to be thanking anyone. Don't you think it is a little weird that we went from Beta 4 full of bugs to Final Release and non of us got a chance to test it?
  19. And who wrote Office for the Mac, Microsoft.:music_whistling: If the system is not designed to do it, then your just asking for compatiblity problems. Stay on the PC for games it was designed better to accommodate that kind of environment.
  20. I hate to put it this way, but you are comparing Apples and Oranges. A computer is only as powerful as the software available for it. I own four Macs and two PC's. I have had both, Apple and PCs all my life to accommodate my different software needs. If you leave gaming out of the picture, pound for pound the Apple blows the doors off the best PC you can build. Try to understand that the Apple is a true 64 bit architecture written from scratch under Unix, and windows, for good reason is part 64 bit, part 32 bit and even part 16 bit in order maintain backwards compatibility with legacy software. I can say without a doubt that the software I run on the Apple is much more complex than the software that I run on a PC. In the last year I have never had to reboot my Apples once due to a operating system crash. How many people can say that about a PC running windows. I have never even rebooted my Apple in the last year, it's on 24 hours a day. Now there are pros and cons to both systems. Apple is a closed architecture with strict coding guidelines that adds to it's stability, but also adds to a lack of flexibility, while the windows operating system is an open architecture which leads to adhoc coding standards with more flexibility but a lack of system stability. From a pure construction and quality point view, you get what you pay for. Apples generally cost twice as much as a PC, but they last for a very long time, there made of all metal parts, very little plastic if any and ergonomically they are functionality following form. You need to use the right tool for the right job. If I want to play DCS A-10C I use a PC. Everything else I do on my Apples. Trying to run windows on an Apple using Bootcamp is actually running windows through an emulator. You are not really running the Apple operating system. This is just like trying to run Windows under DOS, not a very campatable or stable idea.
  21. I also use the iPad to read the manuals. The issues is how do you transfer a file that large through email to your iPad. I used The full version of Adobe Acrobat to break up the manual into three separate parts, then i send them to my iPad and click on the icon in the email to load them into iBook. Works like a charm
  22. How long do you think it took them to debug this flight sim?
  23. Wags can I please have an update? I promise I will not tell anyone else.
  24. Is it possible the DCS is not reading the toe brakes fast enough. When I look at them in the Windows control panel it show the toe brakes always going to zero when I lift me feet off the left and right toe brakes. When I watch them in DCS A-10C they don't always return zero depending on how fast I lift my feet.
  25. I recorded this track of me flying in the tracking pattern. Everthing looks fine except the track never showed the ordance being jettisoned, and it shows the aircraft going off into the grass when I actually taxi into the ramp. What gives??? :noexpression: Takeoff and Landing Track 3C.trk
