  1. I'm aware Su-27 PFM is being worked on. :) I think it was Yo-Yo who said manually performing the Cobra maneuver is possible with the new PFM! I get pay tomorrow; can't wait to try the F-15C.
  2. lol Mike, you think that's exactly what happened right before the crash? :D
  3. Nice! I bet the stick base doubles as urinal as well. :D
  4. If this had been a Flanker or Mig with PFM, I'd have bought FC3 50 bucks and all.
  5. Try repairing it "Repair DCS World" in the start menu. I had similar problem in the 1.2.8 open beta but the game worked after I disabled firewall.
  6. I've been waiting for this but didn't think they would. I'm getting this soon. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/f-15c_dcs_flaming_cliffs/
  7. Thanks for the heads up!
  8. Ahh, it is definitely not for the faint of hearts (or wussies :D) if your stick is the 400 dollars kind. If you can afford it then you should because flying itself is a whole new experience. I dare say you actually get a better feel for the performances from your aircraft. Actually, in my last post, perhaps, I should have written chasing the performances or the sustained turn rate?
  9. Thanks, Groove, PM sent.
  10. So, Kenan, the new landing physics make you happy now? :D
  11. TooTall, are you using stock joystick with no extension? With the extra 5-6" travel added to my joystick, I am now able to ride the stall and maintain it. Before it was either too much or too little so basically I was chasing the stall in the Stang, and that alone took away some of the situation awareness from the fighting.
  12. Years ago I wanted to be one so bad I distorted reality to feel like there is a chance I could, but deep down knowing full well I'll never be any where near any cockpit. lol I even bought a pair of aviation headsets and had nothing to plug them into. I was a sad mess. :P Yeah, I might know how you feel. Even then I cringed when I read people wear flight suit and helmet while simming. :D Here here..
  13. Are those friendly AI you're shooting at? :D I definitely would like to join when DCS WWII is released. By that time I hope to have complete my throttle and rudder pedals project.
  14. Oh dear, I should have looked at the date.
  15. Congratulations! The Shark is quite awesome in combat as you'll soon find out. Just make sure you kill all the room lights when you have a go at a night mission. :D Also, if you like helicopters then you must try the Huey from Belsimtek. They're ED's partner and their helicopter sims are unmatched.
  16. Welcome to the club. I sent three e-mails and am eagerly waiting for reply.
  17. Those poor birds!
  18. I imagine you'd have push for some neg G in order to stay inverted?
  19. Hi, did you forget to post pics under "You can see here"? :D It's always interesting to see people's mod, and how they apply hall sensors to stock gimbals. The awful thing about these Suncom grips is they're cheap looking; they don't look good up close.
  20. Where did you get the measurements for the stick or was it just guesswork?
  21. I've been wanting to do this forever. Today I called in sick and went at it. :D I'm going to make a base which will attach to the shock housing under my chair. This will extend about a foot or so from under the chair where I'll mount the stick and a set of homegrown pedals. :D Flying the Stang is a whole new experience with long-throw stick. Much, much more precise even with original crappy pots. Precision. Precision. The simple things I couldn't do before, I could now. Some of you have read WWII pilot talking about nudging the control stick just a smidgen to line up on target. The extension gives me that. I can now take off and raise the rear wheel with ease. No more humping the tarmac from external view. I can't wait to get going on the throttle and pedals. I'm happy. :D
  22. Airbus to insects. Bit, have you ever seen a dragonfly fly? That is alien physics.
  23. Ahh those things I've noticed. Especially the gunnery bit at the top of the vertical fight where you grimace at the wobbling piper you work so hard to get on the bandit. I hate it! :D I take it you used to paly Warbirds online? :D
  24. I wouldn't even bother with them, man. I don't buy the OR hype either. At the end of the day, you've created something you've obviously put lots of time and passion into.
