  1. I use the autopilot after I mark the target to keep the "wings" level (with small corrections via the trim hat). Found it too be both more accurate and easier way to deliver the bombs in CCRP.
  2. Beautiful work!
  3. Would the lift coefficient change if the missile is rotated 45 degrees along the axis (to resemble X instead of +)?
  4. Yes, look-down should be similar to MiG-23MLA. Russian sources describe Cyrano IV as Pulse-Doppler with external coherence source.
  5. Don't think any Cyrano IV variant (including the one on the F1-M) has modern look down/shoot down capability since they are not Pulse-Doppler ones. That comes with the RDM on the Mirage 2000. So better range, 120 degrees scan in the horizontal, 4 bar scan in the vertical like modern radars, but limited look-down and no TWS. The later variants have ground mapping, terrain avoidance and anti-ship modes.
  6. The window in the speedometer gauge used to be black, changed few months ago with this update: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/changelog/openbeta/2.5.6.53756/
  7. One issue with version 1.81: In landing mode (APP), the horizontal (attitude angle) bars are compressed in the center. Screenshot:
  8. Thanks for the update!
  9. Hi, we have new symbology for the RWR that doesn't seem to be represented in the MOD fonts.

I wonder if the ray-tracing GPU hardware and APIs can be used for radar image simulation (with the radar receiver antenna being the camera and the emitter beam being the light source)...

Terrain following modes from the french manual of the early 2000c (with RDM radar): - Decoupe (DEC): presentation des echos fonction de leur hauteur par rapport a une hauteur de plan de garde selectionne (rouge au-dessus, vert au-desous) - Percee Aveugle (PER): idem a DEC mais le plan de decoupe est parallele auu vecteur vitesse avion - Anti-collision (AC): mode analogue a PER mais le plan de decoupe a une forme de spatule de ski a D > 5 Nm. Google Translation: - Cutout (DEC): presentation of the echoes according to their height compared to a selected guard plane height (red above, green below) - Blind Drill (PER): same as DEC but the cutting plane is parallel to the airplane speed vector - Anti-collision (AC): mode analogous to PER but the cutting plane has a shape of ski tip at D> 5 Nm. BTW, Falcon BMS has similar visualization of the TFR (with the ski symbology):
  12. The DO input parameters (after you click DEB): N: waypoint number (could also be 00 = self) Rho and Theta: polar coordinates of the reported target from the waypoint (Rho = distance in NM, Theta = heading in degrees) Z: altitude of the target in hundreds of feet C: heading of target in degrees M: speed of target in Mach T: age of the report (in minutes.seconds) Example: Report is "5 min 30 seconds ago, waypoint number 6 saw a hostile flying at Mach 1.4 30000 ft at 10 NM in direction 130. He was heading for 260" Enter the following data: - Press DEB - Select 06 for N - Select 10 for Rho - Select 130 for Theta - Select 300 for Z - Select 260 for C - Select 1,4 for M - Select 5.30 for T - Press FIN
