P51 is a module for DCS world. DCS world is free. A10 and Ka50 came before DCS world. That's why they can be stand alone.

Run the Repair DCS world in your start menu and try the updater again when it finishes.

Can you repeat this crash? Or is it a one time crash? I played the mission and didn't crash. There can still be a problem, I simply cannot repeat it. I'm sure you have tried the basics. Latest Drivers, up to date Directx, and Visual C++. Sorry if you have tried all the above and are still having problems. My 1st thought is to re-install directx. Also check for motherboard drivers. Long shot but it may help. Good luck.

In FC2, targets were relayed by bullseye calls. Use a wingman and find the targets. Use your takeoff point as bullseye. Targets spotted at 270 for 20 off bullseye. Fly heading 270 from takeoff for 20km. Use your eyes. I find you can navigate very well in this fashion.

The AIM 7 has a place in MP. I find it works best when the AIM 9 is out of just range. It's fast. Its brutal at close range. I can think of plenty of situations where I would carry an AIM 7 over a 120.

Unless plasmas have changed, I recommend a LCD or a LED tv. The plasmas put off a lot of heat and can have some burn in problems. I have a 60 hz tv and it works fine. Be sure to enable vertical sync with a large screen. You see screen tearing without it.
