The quote of the FAQ was from Wags or Evilbivol. ED is open to anyone that wishes to create an aircraft for DCS world. I personaly would love to fly a small GA aircraft. A 152 aroebat with the AFM = Fun. No where does this mean that ED will ever create a non military simulation. If a 3rd party makes one. Let them. ED will not stop them.

If a 3rd party made cockpits available for FC3 aircraft, got permission to sell them. There would be plenty of people that would pay for it. That's my opinion. ED can build the next dcs bird and the 3rd parties can mess with FC. Some 3rd party devs will have no interest in a DCS quality pit or aircraft. I would rather have them make something then be told to go away if there work is not perfection. Peoples money will decide if they keep building them or not.

I would be interested in supported 3rd party models of new objects in game. But the artist would have to release a low res version for free to allow MP compatiblty. I would be very much interested in paying for a 3d pit for aircraft already in game. Think of the new F15 pit. It didnt have to be clickable. It still added a great deal to flying the 15. Build a 25t pit with shadows and 6d of freedom, and I will pay nicely.

I'm pretty sure DirectX is controlling the ffb. As long as you use correct drivers from Microsoft, dcs world should continue to function with duel FFB. Both FFbs work for other games that I tried. (Shake function only tested)

Kuky, can you add two bits of information to your last chart? Time of flight to impact? I would be very interested to know how long after launch they reached the target. Also top speed in flight. Thanks.

There has been problems with the server recently. On December 3rd it was moved from Chicago IL to Dallas TX. Users are having distorted speech and lost connections now with the new server. If you are also having problems with the server please let me know. I only manage to speak to 5 or 6 users and they all seem to having these issues. I can move the server to the west coast if the Dallas service continues to give issues.

Why? It would only change again.

Step one. Make your squadrons charter. What is you goal? Why does your squad exist? Step two. Find people who share your beliefs in step one. Step three. Make a central gathering space. A website, forum, and/or teamspeak will do. Step four. Train players gathered in step two to complete step one. You will need a good internet to host. Step five repeat steps two and four. Step six repeat step two unless you have too many members. Then see step four.

The 3rd party developers must see a better market for western aircraft. Vote with your wallet. When bezel shows how a red aircraft is done properly, I'm sure other developers will follow based on his success or failure. Both are a real possibly.
