Sure, LN can do whatever they want… it’s their company. I don’t buy into the hype marketing theory to announce a project, rather if you know what it is, tease for a few weeks, announce it and rely on momentum. I do not think they would be teasing if licensing or security details still needed to be negotiated. :)

Fantastic video Matt! It’s great that you are releasing these vids so frequently! Truly groundbreaking stuff! I remember working on an IBM commercial as a teen and playing one of the first flight simulators ever created. It was black and white with wire frame graphics for an Apple II computer one of the technical guys had… I played with it for hours… that’s what hooked me. Since then I had always wondered what the future would hold. Well the future is here and it’s definitely the one I was hoping for!

I do have a question: since McCarren International airport will be integrated into the NTTR map will there be civilian traffic added for this, or will there be an option to add AI civilian aircraft at some point? How will this be handled? McCarren is a legitimately busy airport ranked 24th in the world. Perhaps this has already been addressed… in that case can someone link me to the post. Thanks!

Yes! Janet airlines 737 Nonstop from Vegas to Area 51

Some of those vast desert screenshots with the F-15’s and F-18’s flying around are absolutely stunning… Amazing how much detail there is around the bases… specifically Nellis. I’ve been to Nellis numerous times and the desert lighting in these screenshots really captures that desert feeling. The news that McCarran airport has been added is very cool. Perhaps the future holds Janet flights from Vegas to Area 51. This is turning out to be quite extraordinary… I do not think some realize how lucky we are at this point in time to have all of this. Never put anything past this team… RESPECT!

I agree with this 100%! You start doing that and you may run the risk of a slow migration from the civilian flight sim world. Piloting a C-130 from a dirt strip… now you’re venturing into extreme excitement!
