  1. That is rather SA side than F-14 side, if you don't see the same hit/ difference across all maps.
  2. Thank you for all your kind words guys. If you guys are happy, we are happy. That simple. I know, it sounds ultra cheesy and worn off, but it is literally why we do what we do.
  3. Which weapon? If it was the same between both modules, or similar type of weapon, it would point more towards that. Let us stay focused in this thread on crashes related to the Cage the Bear campaign. If this happens again, or if you can reproduce it, please make a separate thread with more information. Thank you!
  4. That is a known bug and only affects the flags, unfortunately we were not able to get that in before cutoff anymore. As for oversweep - are you sure you are waiting till the light comes off? That may explain the 10 seconds.
  5. Always will be, as long as we breathe
  6. It's called a misunderstanding, which can happen, it is not like they said that on purpose. Stuff like that can happen. If TALDs are not working for you, then please report to ED. Thank you.
  7. It is our sincere pleasure, and my contribution is the least bit.
  8. Thank you. In general tracks on Caucasus are best, because other maps cannot be debugged. Also this is something to be please reported to ED, there is nothing we can do about it.
  9. Yeah, unfortunately we did not spot the issue, as our testers get a build without liveries and a separate livery folder to download, to spare them around 10GB of download with each testbuild. They will be in the next patch though.
  10. Dear all, I would like to apologize to all of you - as you may have seen we changed the AIM-54 guidance from parallel to PN this patch. Both ED and us have been under the impression all these years that it had been set to PN already, and luckily ED spotted the issue. This is ofc an oversight, and was owed to the fact that the setting is hidden behind a value that does not indicate this on first sight and the differences in guidance are very difficult to spot, if at all, in game, when monitored under the wrong assumption. However, you should notice a difference now, where the missile will have slightly less energy on the fly-out while maintaining more energy during the terminal phase, as it should. We're very grateful to ED for spotting this, and ofc feel somewhat embarrassed to have been under the wrong impression all along. The AIM-54 ofc should have always been set to PN guidance. The positive note is that the terminal guidance should be improved through this, and we are happy that this step brings us closer to the completion of the AIM-54 overhaul. We would like to thank you ever so kindly for your tremendous patience with us and I hope you enjoy the changes this patch brings. Thank you and our sincere apologies again.
  11. Dear all, like with each patch we would kindly like to ask you for your feedback for the current patch. We hope you enjoy it. Noteworthy is particularly the overhaul of the landing gear suspension, which leads to a vast improvement - we hope - in taxiing, take off and landing, as well as taxiing over grass (though in a limited capacity) for those of you who like to use road bases and find a necessity for it. Please find the changelog below. As always we could not be more grateful for your continued support and your kind help to improve our modules through your excellent feedback. Thank you! DCS: AJS-37 Viggen by Heatblur Simulations Completely overhauled Landing Gear suspension. Fixed Landing Gear traction. Ground Crew can now be called from ground start. Fixed missing night lighting on rollers. Fixed broken normals on the canopy frame and attached parts. Improved the texture seam down the middle of the canopy frame. Updated Chinese Localisation for several training missions. Thank you Alphabet_Ghost! Updated general Chinese Localisation. Thank you Alphabet_Ghost!
  12. Dear all, as with each patch we would kindly like to ask you for your feedback for the current patch. We hope you enjoy it. Mentionworthy are the addition of the oxygen gauge, the tranisition of the AIM-54 guidance from parallel to PN, fixing the AP issue with no deadzones in ATT and ALT hold and ofc a plethora of other fixes as you can see in the changelog below. Known issue: when manually sweeping the wings aft to 68°, the emergency oversweep flag will show instead of manual. This does not affect wing sweep though. We will have it fixed in the next patch, our apologies. As always we could not be more grateful for your continued support and your kind help to improve our modules through your excellent feedback. Thank you! DCS: F-14 Tomcat by Heatblur Simulations NEW: Added the ability to remove the refuelling probe door by triggering Argument 1616. NEW: Added AFAC Role assignable from the mission editor. Switched AIM-54 from parallel navigation to proportional navigation. Added missing Liquid Oxygen gauge on front right pilot's panel. Fixed AP reacting over-sensitively to small roll or pitch inputs and disconnecting. Re-added SC version for OP Reforger. Fixed a bug in the ALR-67 threat association algorithm causing constant misassociation for groups of threats of the same type. Fixed compass N-S switch N position. Fixed an issue where Iceman would continue to go to steerpoint after disengaging and re-engaging him. Fixed Iceman not holding altitude at low IAS. Fixed Iceman having issues to hold heading. Fixed Iceman not responding to inputs for altitude and airspeed correctly. Fixed LTE in PD-STT ACM mode (was 3s, now 1s). Fix BATR max time not updated by ground kneeboard burst length adjustments. Default the M61 round limiter to 50 for F-14A in mission editor aircraft properties. Fixed sensor track file remaining on TID display even if PAL mode was selected. Improved LANTIRN GBU-24 accuracy. Improved LANTIRN laser spot collision detection accuracy. Fixed LANTIRN lasing for AI. Fixed COMP panel push button fast syncing not working in certain situations. Fixed wing sweep delay causing a too slow sweep rate. Fixed wing sweep flags: MAN flag shows in BOMB mode and AUTO flag shows when AUTO program is cached in MAN mode. Fixed wing sweep program resetting to AUTO after pressing MASTER RESET Fixed Emergency Wing Sweep handle and Spider Detent logic around the Oversweep threshold. Re-enabled normal maps on F-14 sealant surfaces. Fixed COMP (COMB) typo on hydraulics gauge face. Fixed droopy emergency brake handle. Corrected broken normals on gear and TACAN panels. Corrected various broken normals on RIO radar control surfaces. Added label for Phoenix cooling switch on left side of RIO cockpit. Added Chinese Localisation for the campaign “The Final Hour”. Thank you Alphabet_Ghost! Updated Chinese Localisation for several missions. Thank you Alphabet_Ghost! Updated general Chinese Localisation. Thank you Alphabet_Ghost.
  13. I would be surprised if it would. Think for instance: the tacan panel on top and the radio panel below instead of the other way round as is now (just an arbitrary example, we havent decided exactly on what will swap around yet), which really shouldn't make a difference at all. Yes. As it should. We actually thought that it has been PN from the get go, only recently we discovered together with ED that it was set to parallel. This was an oversight on both sides, owed to the fact that this is hidden behind a value that does not really point to what it does, thankfully ED spotted this though.
  14. Oh no need to apologize at all bud.
  15. It is a system meant to make you feel like grabbing different aircraft. Panel positions were moved at times irl (some not all of them), seat cushions were different, dynamic bunos, etc.
  16. small correction, we just saw we botched something during the upload, so the new liveries did not get pulled and will be in the next update instead. (which is why we usually do not post these things ahead, hehe.)
  17. Yeah, this part is a bit too generalized. Weathering on certain panels to a certain degree is much more accurate. But not the overall weathering. That would add like almost another year on the Tomcat and is just not feasible. We'll see how far we can take this, but I don't want folks to get disappointed who expect to suddenly have a brand new looking jet, etc...
  18. Possibly. Just tested myself in the F-5 and looks fine. both with aim9s and gun. First 2 pics are with aim9, second 2 with gun. (also attached the tacview for the gun kill) Tacview-20220720-193739-DCS.zip.acmi
  19. Was this not exclusive to FC3 aircraft initially?
  20. Here, bud. Usually we don't do that, but we can make an exception. 21. I don't know where you guys keep taking this from? We always said we will not offer different weathering of the cockpit, it would amount to basically re-doing the cockpit. On certain, smaller panels maybe, but primarily forge is about changing panel positions (for panels where applicable), in the future maybe seat cushions, buno, that kind of stuff.
  22. This is also my experience, and certainly how it should be.
  23. We are indeed!
