  1. Are these activated flyables true to their real world performance in 2.0 or are they still only using the Su-27's engines over the aircraft's respective aerodynamic performance as it was in FC1.
  2. Glad to hear you're looking into it. My multiplayer was fine but now I'm also getting some pitch down in MP as well as SP. It's just not as severe in MP. I use a MS sidewinder FF2 by the way.
  3. It crashes after about 300 lines of the created text file. Any chance this utility could be updated to work with 2.0 so scenery modifications can once again be possible?
  4. it's a bug. has been since 1.12 I get different pitch down in single player and not multiplayer with the same setup. Sometimes it just goes away or is not active for some users.
  5. Seems I only have this issue in single player. Mutli-player is just fine.. maybe you guys with this problem should check this out to see if it is the case with you as well. Granted the force-feedback fix does work, it is unfortunate for those of us with FF sticks.
  6. I didn't. The fresh install featured very little haze, so I tried editing some graphics.cfg values and they didn't seem to change anything either.

  8. I have the same issue as above. However mine has a little more haze to it. Another person I know has more haze than me.. it's a weird scale and I don't know what affects it.
  9. Some users (including myself) experience violent down pitching of the aircraft when in flight. The only solution, as it has been since FC 1.12, is to change ForceFeedbackEnabled from true to false in the producer.cfg file. However, this not only gets rid of force feedback on my stick, but it also removes the return to center tension on the stick. I know of one other whose flight was unaffected by this solution and still experiences this annoying bug.

  12. I see the option to save a track after ending a single player flight, but no options for multiplayer flights. Does anyone know where this is? Thanks.
  13. Ah! Ok, glad to hear it wasn't supposed to be a feature. I was under the impression it was shipping with FC2.0 Thanks for the info c0ff! :) Looking forward to it and the speed of sound fix.
  14. Because the plane is moving at almost the same speed as the sound.. so the sound doesn't reach you until right before the plane is there.
  15. While the sound is much better, they still did not model the speed of sound correctly. You hear the jet approaching at mach .98 from miles away, just like before. :(
  16. The new fence in LO4ever is only a texture replacement over the fence. I'm looking for the model of the entire base so i can overwrite it with what i have here, a taller fence with barbed wire at the top.

Ok so i'm wanting to replace these default fences that surround the airbase: with something more like this: It turns out the texture these fences use is called tros.tga (cable) which is used to tile on MANY of lomac's models. Because a simple texture replacement is not what i'm trying to do, I also searched all 600+ terrain structure models. The individual airport fence layout is not contained in the structure models, so I'm starting to think they are contained in the .sup files. Anyone have any input on how this replacement could be possible?
  18. Yeah Konkussion I was there too it kind of sucked! NO IT DID SUCK.. I was really looking forward to seeing the Thunderbirds this year. In fact I am just out of view of your video on the procession i am up at the fence just to the right of the camera view angle i was standing directly in front of the planes and right there where they did the program with those kids.   19. Yes, I have seen it and that is where I found the model to do. It's too bad I "suck" at modelling otherwise I could have finished it. Eh, oh well, good luck on your 9435708 models. :)

  23. You can only changed the color and position of the smoke out of the pod in the drawinfo.lua. The alpha setting in there doesn't seem to do anything at all!
