  1. Hi, Ranger did u get a chance to look at making more bullet spread/inaccuracy. The best i was able to do was to change there detection range to 900m so they don't shoot untill i'm breaking away. I think this defeats the objective a little though
  2. Thanks for taking the time to have a look. I checked they are on the minimum skill level. I also tested the Hmmv gunner while i was testing you units and it seems ED has made him far to clever, but i get why you would have chosen to use that Lau. If i could i would make him less accurate too. I just cant seem to find what to edit in the lau to make their hit probability less, or perhaps their bullet spread more.
  3. Hi i have a request ranger about reducing the accuracy/ skill of your AI. (PS :Its not a moan, i appreciate the mod as it is but think this might improve it) I will try to keep it concise. Im finding that these units : technical's, desert Humvee, RG 31 and mtvr are all lethal to helicopters. They would make fun targets and good missions for Huey and Hip however, they all can shoot incredibly accurately at 1.2 km and if your 0.7 km you don't stand much of a chance if theres multiple units. This is unfortunate since with a rocket volley i typically launch at 1.2 km- 0.8 km, any further out and you hit probability is so low you'll expend all your rockets on just a few kills. I Really don't think they should be so accurate considering most of them are just men looking down some iron sights. I appreciate this level of accuracy/ range might be ok if your in a jet but with the helicopters the only way i have successfully shot a whole bunch of techies is with a friend continuously drawing the fire so i can get a shot without being cruelly return fired. Could you tell me what i might edit in the lau file to make them less accurate , or perhaps change this for the appropriate vehicles in the next version??? thanks

  6. Oh thank you Vike. You may have noticed my thread asking a similar question, but when i read yours i realised i was experiencing the exact same problem. the irony is when there is a problem the first thing i blame is my mods and so i go and disable them all, but in this case enabling them as you did has sorted it!! Good job i read this in time since God knows i was about to do a clean install would have taken ages!

  9. Hi I've recently downloaded latest version, Was using it as normal for one time. Now it wont launch, all I see is the black box called bin flash up for a second, that's it. Google searched this issue but only comes up for solutions for steam users. have tried launching from bin, and deleting saved games/dcs world Any ideas.
  10. It would take them a day to make a PA-28 its so small and simple. Would be a laugh but obviously it makes no sense to do so.

  12. lesson Abris plan shows how to plan and save a new route, and then save it into database so every time you fly that mission you can load previously made routes. Does this not work anymore. I went straight on and after watching video and did the process but they are never there when i quit and reload mission. Im not missing any steps,, anyone else got this problem?

  14. Which RPM are you referring to that I dial in? Engine or prop. The cockpit instrument displays engine RPM. This suggests to me that the governor is maintaining the engine RPM at a constant speed rather than prop RPM. In other words as the MP is increased the engine generates more force/ torque, this would result in an increase in engine rpm but before it does the governor increases the prop pitch. ? Am I correct in saying the following? : Though called a constant speed propeller you can select the speed you wish it to maintain. It just seems to me that we from the cockpit can only select an engine speed to be maintained and thats what determines the propeller RPM. Why is it called the propeller control lever and not the engine RPM lever. Is therefore the engine rpm directly linked through a gearbox to the Prop RPM?
  15. Hi I've been flying the P-51D for ages and i know how to get the best performance out of the engine but i don't understand the science behind what im doing. In other words i just learnt a procedure. This is really what i cant get my head round... In the P-51 you set the propeller pitch using the prop pitch control lever, but you can't actually read its pitch from the cockpit, instead my understanding is that you are indirectly controlling the engine RPM, which you can read from the cockpit instrument. correct?? I do understand that the MP is the pressure of the fuel air mix in the induction and thus the higher the pressure provided to the piston heads the more power the engine can produce. But, say I set an RPM of 2400 the engine can maintain this speed whether the manifold pressure is at say 50 or as low as 30 etc. So if the engine is operating at the same speed regardless of the manifold pressure, why does the aircraft still speed up or slow down when MP is changed. Is something happening to the pitch? I am aware that to little MP and an engine RPM cannot be achieved but once you have set the MP high enough and it can be achieved any increase in MP is just excessive (i think im starting to answer my own question) but why then does it result in an increase in speed.. it must have something to do with prop pitch right ??? Can anyone explain in comprehensive detail or perhaps direct me to a webpage that will really clear up my understanding of whats going on. Thanks

  17. Hi Upuaut, I have been trying your M16 truck with the quad mount out. I really like it but it almost invincible! Needs about 4 direct rocket hits to destroy it (more than a tank) and gun pods have no effect whatsoever. Im sure this was just an oversight and i appreciate that its WIP so thought it would be worth pointing out. Thanks

It would also make flying the Huey and Hip much more interesting since if you dont want to be made into swiss cheese your limited to engaging groups of unarmed units which are not defended by any AAA whatsoever. The Zu-23 is just to powerful, rapid fire rate and accurate to be anywhere near. I also think your choices are exactly right. +1
  19. Hi Upuaut The Mods i'd like merged for JSGME installation is the cargo mod (now including the AAA gun) and the (latest) helipads mod. Of course i must mention how grateful i already am. These pics might help you know which ones i mean but of course the zu-23 is missing

  23. Hi Upuaut, Big fan of the additional cargos you already made. Any chance you could make a new cargo of perhaps an artillery gun. Perhaps use the russian AAA emplacement already available and turn it into a cargo?
  24. no i have them moving unfortunatley. Is it possible to compare the lau files for ground units (whom do behave) and compare it with ship lau or something and see what the difference is. i dont know how to do this myself though
